Jordan ran after Joanna and they eventually both got to the study. "Wow, Joe wasn't kidding", she thought. The study was quite dark, the only light coming from the curtains which wasn't a lot. The small amount of light seemed to make things even more creepy, with the light creating shadows that a child could see as monsters. The smell of dust made Jordan sneeze, there was another smell as well, it was a rusty type of smell, like the smell of blood or ink. "Why is there so much black in a study? Shouldn't it be more lit up so the doc could see better?" Jordan mumbled to herself. She didn't want anyone to hear her but she could never keep quiet for too long, the silence made her uneasy. "What do ya say?" asked Joanna "Nothing" "Oh, isn't this place cool!" exclaimed Joanna. "Looks more like a vampire's room than a study." noted Jordan. "I know! I want my room to look like this. Jordan ruffled Joanna's hair, a rare small smile appeared on her lips. "Go ahead and ask him Joe", Joanna happily skipped to find their father. Jordan took a quick look at the study once room and a chill crept on her spine. That is when she heard a sound, like fingers scrapping against a wall whatever was scraping against the wall sounded more rough than just fingers. It could have been wood but Jordan wasn't that convinced, she went around the room to find where the noise was coming from. The noise was a bit louder the closer she got to the walls, when Jordan pressed her ear against one the simple scrapping turned into loud banging. As if someone or something was pounding on the wall, wanting to get out
