This definitely wasn't the first time you had ended up with a strange man in your house when you woke up, but it was the first time you had ever chained anyone up in your house. You lived in a shitty neighborhood and so strangers walking into your house or breaking into your house wasn't all that uncommon. This man was different, he has dark raven hair and was dressed in strange clothing. He seemed familiar but you couldn't place where you had seen him before. You shake your head and walk back to your kitchen to get a glass of water to throw in his face. "I wouldn't do that, Dear." He says, lifting his head to try to get a better view of your living room.

At the sound of his voice a memory from your childhood pops into your head.

"Come on Loki" You call, running down one of the long hallways in the palace.

"Slow down Dear." Loki calls, running after you.

You keep running until you reach the gardens. You glance over your shoulder and frown seeing that Loki is still very far behind you. You sit on one of the benches in the gardens and wait for him to catch up to you. Once he catches up he sit on the bench next to you, breathing heavily. "About time." You quip, glancing over at the tired boy and smiling.

He bumps your shoulder lightly with his own, letting out a soft chuckle. "With speed like that you could easily become a valkyrie."

You look over and laugh softly at the boy. "You really think so?"

"Of course I do. You would be the most feared and beautiful warrior Asgard would ever see." He says mater of factly.

You snap back to reality and walk in front of the man. "Loki?"

He looks up at you, his green eyes locking with your (Y/E/C) ones. "How do you know my name?"

"I don't know. It just popped in my head." You say, stumbling over your words

He stares at you for a moment, studying your face to see if he recognizes you. "(Y/N)?"

You stare at him for a moment before answering. "Yeah. How'd you know my name?"

"I knew you." He says, giving you a small smile

"We've never met before." You snap, glaring at him. You start pacing around the room, you can feel his eyes on you but you refuse to look at him again.

"Will you look at me, please?" Loki says, softly, just loud enough for you to hear.

You reluctantly look up at him, and see the tears shining in his eyes. You instantly walk over to him and get to work getting him loose from the chains. Once he is free you and him the glass of water. "Here, you probably need it."

He smiles at you, taking the glass from your hand. "Thank you. They told me you were dead, I never believed them but it got harder as the years went by."

"Who told you I was dead?" You question, watching as Loki takes a sip of water.

"Odin." He says.

"I don't remember." You say, giving Loki a sad smile.

"I can help with that." Loki says standing up, and moving to sit next to you on your couch. You scoot over to make more room for him. "Close your eyes." You do as you are told.

Loki puts his hands on the side of your face and just like that memories come flooding back to you and you remember everything. "Odin banished me after your attack on New York. He said I was likely going to help you escape. he had your mother block all my memories and I woke up on Midgard with no knowledge for who I was."

Loki stands up and holds his hand out to you. "Let's go home."

You stand, taking his hand in your own. "Let's go home."
