Dearest ancestor beneath the Earth
Forgotten and all alone
Today I bring these flowers to thee
And lay them on your tombstone
Though a bundle of roses is hardly fitting
To truly honor your sweet memory
Sometimes I think these simple gestures
Are less for you but for me
I light a candle next to your place of rest
And from my eyes flow bittersweet tears
Though sad they reduce emotional stress
And in regards to Death I now have no fears
