Sympathetic Deceit/Remus
Roman is the most popular kid in school, and wins almost every competition. Its not like he doesnt deserve it- he works HARD. But when he looses the title of prom king to Virgil, a kid who was generally thought of as an outcast but gained some popularity near the end of the year as a rising underdog, Roman goes to a local bar to sulk. Some guys start hitting on him, and due to his extensive makeup and rather high-pitched voice(high-pitched for someone who is biologically male), they think he's a female and become rather angry upon being corrected by the man himself, whom is crying over a Long Island Iced Tea. He is defended by a shadowy figure whom he recognizes as his brother's friend, Dee. His brother Remus is behind Dee. Remus was obviously drunk off his ass, but sober enough to know who was fucking with his brother and to know where to hit to make them hurt.... It was nice to be appreciated and defended by those he honestly cared about. And sure, they got kicked out, but Roman couldnt have asked for a better prom night.
