Chapter 4

I woke up this morning at 4:30. I showered and got into my uniform. I put my hair up makeup on and hat on.

I put on my shoes and grabbed my keys. I kissed Justin's forehead and walked into Bentley's room.

I kissed his forehead and walked out quietly closing his door.

I walked to the kitchen and grabbed a water bottle. I grabbed my phone and walked out.

I got into my car and drove to the police station.

"Winter are you ready to start your first case?" My boss asked

"Yes sir." I said

"Good your on the case with benson." He said

I nodded.

"Are you officer Summer?" A girl asked

"Ya. Are you Benson?" I asked

She nodded.

"What do we have?" I asked

"Right now we gotta get in the car I'll explain on the way." She said

I nodded and we started walking. We got in the car.

"We don't have much we have blood, hair and a dead body." She said

"Do we know cause of death?" I asked

"No but we know who the perp is." She said

I nodded. We got to the crime scene. I put on gloves and saw everything. I made a face.

"Ok the guys name is Robert Jason he's 32 and lives on a beach house by the beach." She said

I nodded.

We got back in the car and drove to the house. I got my gun out and we started walking in.

We knocked on the door. No answer. We knocked the door down and walked in.

We checked all rooms. He was in the back.

"Robert Jason your under arrest for the murder of Jordan Angel." She said

"You have the right to remain silent anything you sat can and will be used against you in the court if law." I said

We handcuffed him and brought him to the squad car. I put him in the backseat and we got in the front.

"Good work." She said

"Thanks." I said

She nodded.

I finally get to go home after a long day of work.

I got in my car and drove away.

I walked into my house and heard

'MOMMY!!!'

I smiled.

"Hi baby." I said

He looked scared.

"What's wrong?" I asked

"Daddy." He said

I heard a crash in the living room. I gasped and pulled my gun out.

"Bentley stay right here ok." I said

He nodded. I walked into my living room and saw Justin tied up. I gasped and felt tears in my eyes.

I walked up to him and took the duck tape off.

"Behind you." He said

I looked behind me and pointed my gun to him.

"Police. Your under arrest." I said

I grabbed my handcuffs and cuffed him.

"Bentley come here." I said

"Yes mommy." He said

"How many was there?" I asked

"Just him." He said

I nodded and called for backup.

I brought him outside and put him in a squad car.

"Good job." My boss told me

"Thanks. I'll be right back my fiancé is tied up." I said

He nodded.

I ran back inside and un tied Justin. He stood up and hugged me. I hugged back.
