Chapter 35

The movie ended and Bentley was passed out on the floor.

I smiled and looked at Amber who was laying on the couch on her tummy asleep.

I looked at hug in who was awake and cuddled into him.

"The kids are asleep." I said

"They should be it's past there bedtime." He said

I giggled.

"I love you Jay." I said

"I love you too princess." He said

I looked at him and kissed him.

"More then spaghetti?" I asked

"Of course not." He joked

I pretended to look hurt but then smiled as he did to.

"I missed this." I said

"Me to." He said

But our cuddling session didn't last long when Amber woke up. I sighed and grabbed her.

I laid my head on Justin's lap and laid her on my chest. I started patting her back softly.

She would make these cute baby sounds. I smiled and looked up at Justin.

He looked at me and then at Amber and right there I could see in his eyes how much he loves this little girl.

Bentley woke up crying and screaming. I grabbed Amber and handed her to Justin.

I walked over to my scared baby. I sat on the floor as he came and sat on my lap.

I sat facing Justin and Amber.

"Shhh what happened Bentley?" I asked

"Monsters and scary things." He said

"Ok. Shh I'm here now." I said

He hugged me like there's not tomorrow.

"I'm so glad you guys are here." He said

I grabbed his chin with my finger and thumb.

"Bentley I am your mother I will always be there for you and with you no matter what." I said

"I love you mommy." He said

I smiled and kissed the top of his head.

"I love you too Bentley." I said

I sat there rocking him as he went back to sleep. I looked up at Justin who was looking at the sleeping baby in his arms.

"We are amazing parents." He said

I smiled and took Bentley to his room. I laid him down and left his door open. Justin put Amber in her crib.

"Let's take naps ourselves." I said

"Good idea." He said

I kissed his lips and we walked into our room. I laid down and felt Justin wrap his arm around my waist.

I smiled and fell asleep.
