Today is the day of my wedding. I walked into my tent aka my bridal suite and saw my dress and jewelry and shoes.
I smiled and saw a cute little dress for Amber. I got her dressed first and put her shoes on and did her hair.
I then sat in the chair and let them work on me. My phone started ringing.
M: hello
D: hi princess
M: hi daddy
D: I just wanted to make sure you know how proud I am of you
M: I know dad
D: I love you princess and I'll be in thereafter to walk you down the isle
M: I love you too bye
D: bye
I hung up and then got into my dress. They put my veil on. I looked in the mirror and smiled.
I got my shoes on. I pulled the dress up a little.
"I'm so nervous." I said
"You look beautiful." Sabrina said
I smiled. She had Amber and the flower basket. I smiled.
"It's time girls line up." David said
I smiled and hugged him. He handed me my bouquet.
"Thank you David it looks beautiful." I said
"Your welcome." He said
The girls started walking out and my dad walked in. I smiled.
"You look beautiful." He said
"Thank you." I said
He nodded and checked his watch.
"It's time princess." He said
I nodded and looked in the mirror one more time. I took a deep breathe and we walked down the isle.
I smiled as everyone stared at me. I saw Shawn Mendez and wanted to freak out. I love him so much.
I looked back at Justin. We got to the end and my father kissed my cheek. I now stood in front of Justin.
"May I ask that the parents of Winter and Justin please rise." The officiant said
They did.
"This wedding is also a celebration of family. It is the blending of 2 families that have been separate up to this moment but united from this day forward -- blending their different traditinons, strengthening the family tree."
"To honor this uniting family, Winter and Justin wish to ask their parents blessing.
John and Katherine do you offer this couple goodwill? Do you welcome Justin as a member of your family and give him your love and affection?"
"We do." My mom said
"Jeremy and Pattie do you offer this couple your goodwill? Do you welcome Winter as a member of your family and give her your love and affection?"
"We do." Jeremy said
"Parents please be seated."
They sat down. I looked at Justin as we interlocked our fingers together. I smiled.
"We are gathered here to join Winter and Justin in holy matrimony. All of us need and desire to love and to be loved."
"And the hugest form of love between 2 people is within a monogamous, committed relationship."
