Chapter Seven

You made a decision, you were going to make his dream come true. You were going to give him a shrine. So you went out at night, without anyone realizing and you searched for abandoned shrines. After searching for hours, in the end you finally found one.

"Oh, boy I'm gonna make this beautiful!"

You went at a local store and you bought some tools and colors in order to repair the shrine. You called Kazuma for help. He was really happy to help you. As you were working you chit-chated.

"I heard you became a blessed vessel, I knew that you would make it."

"Thanks, Kazuma. But let me know, how are things going between you and Bishamon?"

"Oh, we're grand! I confessed to her and she was feeling the same. I also made a wish to her that we be together and she fulfilled it. I love her so much."

"I'm so happy for you! Ummm, well, Yato and I kissed..."

"Oh, wow. And you're together now?"

"Well, I don't really know...I just want to make him happy, that's why we're doing this."

"You're right, but If you want us to be done by the morning, we'll we should work harder."

"Okey then let's continue."

You managed to finish by the morning. Although it wasn't that big it looked very nice. You also placed one outdoor bed like that one in Tenjin's shrine. It was seven o'clock in the morning. You went back to Kofuku's place, you laid to bed without waking up Yato and you took a nap.

Almost at nine o'clock you both woke up "Hey Yato, wanna go for a walk? I found a new place and you're gonna love it."

"Sure, why not? Go get ready and meet me downstairs."

You nodded and went to the bathroom and you wore a f/C dress that matched your f/C eyes. You put the headband that Yato gave you and you went downstairs. Once he got downstairs he looked at you and he smiled.

"Let's go shall we?"

"Follow me."

"Always..." he said and smiled, you blushed and held his hand. As you were walking he was looking at you and he put his arm over your shoulder

"You look beautiful you know that?" you looked at him and you smiled, not knowing what to say. Once you reached the shrine's stairs you closed his eyes with your palms.

"Y/N, what are you doing?"

"It's a surprise, follow me."

You reached outside the shrine's door, it was a bit bigger than Kofuku's shrine.

"Open your eyes."

"Oh my, what-what is this?"

"Our new home Yato...Do you like it?"

"But, but how? How did you do this?"

"Well it was an abandoned shrine, I got some help from Kazuma and we repaired it. Do you want to go inside?"

"Sure, let's go."

It was a spacious living room with a couch, one chaise-long, a fireplace and a table with pictures of you two into it. A door was heading to the kitchen and the dining room. There was a staircase that was heading to the bathroom and your bedroom. The bedroom had a double bed and a walk-through closet. The bathroom was fully equipped with bath products and a big tub.

"I can't believe you've done this. This is the greatest thing anyone could ever do for me. Thank you so much Y/N. I really thank you."

"Well I have one more surprise for you. Follow me." you closed his eyes and you went through a door that was on the living room. You went outside and there was a small garden full of flowers and small pond with running water. Right next to the pond was a cherry tree and an outdoor bed, just like in Tenjin's shrine.

"Oh my...this is beautiful. Please pinch me to see if I'm dreaming...OW! I DIDN'T REALLY MEAN IT!"

"Haha! This is our new home Yato, do you like it?"

He answered your question, well kind of. He hugged you and tears ran out of his eyes. He laid his forehead onto yours and he looked at your F/C eyes. After that you leaned in and he kissed you. The kiss lasted almost one minute and you didn't even realize when it ended.

"Thank you again so much, it's a dream coming true. Since I was little, I always wanted my own shrine. I used to pretend that my dog's house was an actual shrine. Yeah I know it's a bit funny, but at least it cheered me up. And now it is actually happening. I have no words."

"You don't have to say anything. I want to make you happy. You mean a lot to me Yato." you said and you hugged him.

"You mean a lot to me too." Yato said to himself.

"Now we have to get our things from Kofuku's shrine and move on here."

"Yes, let's go."

You went back to Kofuku's place and you picked up your stuff.

"I'm gonna miss you guys!"

"Relax Kofuku-San we'll only be a couple of blocks away. We'll be coming to visit every weekend."

"Hurray!" and she hugged you both.

"Take care of that douchebag Y/N." Daikoku said while patting Yato on the head.

"Yeah, I'll miss you too big guy." you giggled and you left
