In every tale, dear reader, there lies a start and a finish. Yet, in the chronicle of the ancient Jedi Knights, the narrative unfolds in an unconventional manner. Our odyssey commenced not with the first tale of Captain Samantha Carter's abduction to a distant galaxy and her descent into a slavery unimaginable on Earth, but with Chari Skale Carter O'Neill.

How, you inquire, could this solitary captain be Mother to Chari without wedlock to the retired Colonel Jack O'Neill? The answer lies within the fabric of time. Recall Sam's sister's revelation that the saga began with her niece? Indeed, it did. The union of Chari and Lisblia set events in motion, explaining why their future selves withheld the date of their nuptials. In truth, the timing of their marriage is inconsequential.

You seem perplexed. Why does the tale not commence with Sam's capture? If that marked the beginning, then how did Master Jedi Brandon Bowers assume the mantle of Sam's mentor? The essence of these reality-hopping stories is to illustrate that my tales do not originate at their apparent onset. The concept of an unkidnapped Sam Carter is yet another narrative thread.

There is a wealth of lore yet unwritten about the ancient and modern Jedi Knights. The fragments I have penned carry weight. Without Sam's abduction, the Jedi Knights from afar would not have ventured to Earth, sparking the events of the 21st century. Had she not been in that faraway galaxy, Sam and Jack's paths would never have converged in matrimony, given the strictures of Air Force protocol.

Your confusion is palpable. Yet, the absence of Sam's kidnapping does not diminish its significance. The story begins with Chari, for it is her existence that anchors her Mother's survival. Without the intervention of her human Twi'lek daughter, Sam's rescue would have remained a forlorn hope.

Consider this: Chari's subtle guidance was pivotal. The information Dr. Daniel Jackson received when most needed did not come from the sources you've been led to believe. Chari was the architect of that knowledge. This is not to say that the efforts of others were futile.

Imagine if Chari had not influenced her Mother's plight; the collective endeavors of Earth's denizens would have been in vain. It was Chari's interactions that led Ituor to discover Sam through the Force. Without Chari's presence, Sam's rescue would have been impossible, and the Jedi Knights would remain ignorant of Earth's existence. Thus, the importance of Sam's kidnapping is underscored. Without Chari's aid, Sam would likely have perished in the spice mines, fulfilling the malevolent desires of the evil Chari and Palpatine, who coveted her powers.

The malevolent Chari sought to prevent Sam from imparting the Force to the ancient Jedi Knights, driven by envy of her Mother's attention to others. As the ancient Jedi Knights absorbed Sam's teachings, the evil Chari's resentment festered, hidden even from her Mother.

As I have reiterated, the genesis of our tale lies with Chari — the benevolent one. Heed my words, for the narrative is complex, and without careful attention, confusion will ensue. I have always urged you to read my works in sequence. Once you grasp the nonlinearity of time, the depth of these stories will become apparent.

The significance of my writings is twofold. The ancient Jedi Knights, integral to our present, must not be consigned to oblivion. Their story demands lucidity. Yet, what I have recounted is but a fraction of their history.

Sam's memories of her alternate self's abduction are more than mere recollections; they are experiences shared across the facets of her being. Now unified, though not entirely, the saga circles back to its origins.

In the present day, the teachings of a Jedi Knight are invaluable. Recall my words on literacy: to read is to claim the title of Jedi Knight. The distinction of the Jedi Knights lies not in Sam Carter alone, but in the application of her teachings.
