"You're here again?" I asked as I sat by him at the edge, my feet emerged in the cool waters of Han River. The moon cast an eerie glow on the two of us as we sat side-by-side lost in our own worlds.
My swollen eyes seemed to have gone back to normal. The red eyes now white. As I continued to look up at the moon, which now was hidden by darkened clouds as if it were a veil.
"Why are you here again?" He asked, not once turning to look my way. He did that a lot, especially when he has done it once more...
I ignored the cold gun in his hands which seemed to glimmer in a silver light as the veiled moon cast its rays upon it. His bruised lips and scars all seemed to vanish as the moon continued to be veiled in darkness.
"I asked you first" I responded, not wanting to tell him what had occurred. Under my breath I kept tapping my toes in a rhythm of fours, hoping he would not notice.
"Just wanted to enjoy the moonlight one last time..."
