It was a day like any other. Soft humming from the kitchen would travel through the house, birds singing in the sun of the noon and the smell of food filled the air.
In this wooden Japanese style house in the moutains lived a mother and a child, the father would visit only once in a while to see them.

The child today was hidden away in the library of her house which was filled of books from the bottom to the top. She had read all children books and comics, she had learnt a few things from books that werent really for her age but today she wanted something different.
She had crawled out of her fort made of books and climbed onto the shelves to find any book to kill her boredom and hunger for knowledge. As she could never really go to school, she only wanted to learn more.

Her eyes layed upon a book. It didnt really look interesting but she took it anyway, bringing it to the table so she could read.

"Auric-Sight" she read the new word to herself and started on the book.
That was when she first heard about auras.

"Human beings radiate a very low level of electricity that's known as an electromagnetic field or an aura" she read, finally understanding a little. This book must say how to see these "auras"

"Auras are believed to have 7 layers, each layer is said to correlate to a different element of your physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional health" She read aloud, attempting to remember it

(I'm taking these of the internet btw XD))

The little girl kept reading not really tearing her eyes off the pages until her mother had called from the door

"Y/N dear, dinner is ready" she giggles quietly "my, my..
What did I tell you about book forts?"

The girl had looked up with a smile "to clean it up after you're done...but I'm not done!" She got up to hug her mother.
The mother and child were really close, as they didnt really have contact with anyone else around except for the father who was always gone.

The child didnt hesitate to try sense her mothers "aura", as they walked down the corridor she was trying her best to focus....though..she felt nothing.

"Is something wrong?" The mother questioned, a worried look on her "you've been glaring at me for a while" she laughed nervously

"Oh no! I'm just thinking" the girl replied with a laugh.

They had dinner, like always, quietly. The only things to ever talk about just books they've read or a silly mistake that happened..
The house was quiet..

It was then the girl saw some colours radiating off her mother, her eyes widen, a glint of curiosity in them. The colours were nice...and when she tried to touch them, it felt nice.
Although her mother was confused she didnt reject the sudden clinging of her child.

"Its like...home" the child thought. Even if the child was home, the house didnt give the same sense of safety and happiness as her mother. She liked it. It was warm and soothing.

Later that day Y/N had not felt the best. The child scurried to her mother feeling that something bad was about to happen. The mother had gotten on her knee, making sure not to dirty her white dress, and asked her what was wrong but the child only shook.

Then footsteps were heard, they were wet and heavy as they came closer. The girl gripped tighter onto her mother's dress as her mother stood.

The door slid open and the child had nearly thrown up, the person before them had an aura that she could not handle, it made her sick. The aura seemed of someone who could do nothing but evil, the aura felt heavy and scary, the scent of metal radiating off it.

When the child looked up, she had seen her father.

Y/N POV

"And that's pretty much it" I finished, still looking up at the start sky. Only after a minute or two glancing at them.
Midoriya was muttering to himself and moving his finger as if taking invisible notes and All Might only looked at me

"You learnt such an amazing thing by reading?" He asked, making sure he understood

"Yeah, most things I know today were either experience or books I know. My mother was really good at remembering stuff, we can read and remember something for a very long time" I explained, hearing Midoriya mumble faster.

All Might had looked down as if thinking to himself

"Must have been hard to have a father as a villain" he said.

A flash of memories flooded back as I looked back at the sky

"Yeah....I guess"

All Might POV

Y/N and I had taken young Midoriya back home, she insisted on coming so she could greet Mrs Inko.
I offered to walk her home to which she accepted gladly, taking a path with less people- just in case people saw me. I was very happy to spend time with her, though...I was forcing myself not to destransform.

"You know..." she started, breaking the silence "I used to think my dad was a good guy.."

"That is normal, none of this is your fault--" I tried to sooth her

"No that's not it. Even after sensing his aura, I kept believing." She stopped on her tracks "I thought maybe I still didnt have the hang of aura stuff, I thought that theres no way since he treated mother and I so well when he came over" she looked down.

The breeze blew lightly as a few moments passed

"I thought he needed saving" her voice started to break and I immidietly stepped ahead "I thought that maybe...those villains were the ones making him do bad stuff" she looked up with teary eyes and without thought I hugged her.

Light hiccups were heard as I felt my shirt get wet from her tears, she then finally hugged back.
We stayed like that until she had calmed down and loosen her grip, indicating the hug was over. I wanted us to stay like that longer...but right now it doesnt matter, what matters is she is ok.

"You know.." she looked up at me, my hands now on her shoulders and hers on my waist "you and Toshi have really similar auras" she smiled, I flinched. Crap.

She took one of my hands of her shoulder and brought up to her cheek "its...warm and...feels safe..kinda like my mother's aura" she smiled up at me softly as I started to feel my heartbeat to quicken "maybe that's why I can tell you guys anything"

Y/N POV

"May I?" All Might suddenly asked as he cleared his throat...was he..embarrassed?

"Huuuh...what?" I asked, not really understanding.

He then had picked me up in his arms, bridal style. I stuttered our gibberish as my face turned red, then suddenly we were in the air.
I had let out a small "eep" as we shot through the sky, my eyes clenched together and arms tight around his neck

"Open your eyes" he said, his voice more soothing than usual

My eyes slowly opened as a gasp left my lips
"So beautiful" I felt myself smile

Before us were all the city lights, pinks and yellows shining everywhere with the red light of cars. The darkness made all the colours pop, making them a whole lot brighter

All Might let out a soft "yeah" and I turned to him. His face was focused on me as he whispered

"Beautiful.."

(( this chapter was supposed to be really short but I felt like that would be cruel so
Huehue have some cutie moments between them...I guess?

I'll be focusing on answering unanswered things from the last book but also romance...I'll try at least

Hope you enjoyed!))
