Kurama (filler)

Midnight POV

It's been a few days later yet I cannot stop thinking about what that Doctor had said

"All you guys have been doing is giving in a new innocent victim to the hospital and letting us deal with the rest. You guys didn't even try search for the source of the problem"

I huff to myself, who does he think he is? Our job is to kick the villains' butt, arent we doing that?

I hear sniffling coming from the corner and so I decide to follow the sound, there I met a small child who was crying to her knees

"Are you ok dear?" I ask, see? I'm not bad.

The kid lifts their head, her cheeks and nosy a rosy colour
"Miss Midnight?" She says as her voice breaks

"Oh! You're...You're the Doctors daughter!"

Y/n POV

"What do you mean you lost her?!" Kurama shouted, throwing his arms in the air

"S-she was playing with Midoriya and then I turned away for a second and--"

"WHAT?!" he exclaimed, his eyebags more noticeable than ever behind his glasses

"I-it was my fault sir!" Midoriya flinched as he shut his eyes tight

"No it wasnt- It was Y/N's responsibility!" He says turning to him before collapsing on a chair and massaging his temple "how am I supposed to work like this?"

"The police are already looking for her and I will too" I say placing a hand on his shoulder to reassure him

"I'll help!" Midoriya said a little tense

We both head out as I hear Kurama calling behind us
"And I'm supposed to just stay here and wait?"

As much as I didnt want to admit, things werent looking good. I had never made a mistake like this before and it happens as soon as I got that letter

"You wouldn't think that this is about the letter...right?" Midoriya asks a little nervous

"Nah, I'm sure she just saw a butterfly and decided to follow it" I force a smile, to which he nods and keeps searching.

I start recalling the thing on TV this morning, a villain was loose- knowing all the smaller heroes they're gonna try catch them to bring up their fame and money. I sigh, I hope Sunny doesnt get involved in their crap.

Midnight's POV

"How did I end up here?" I ask myself as I turn to the kid eating icecream beside me, I sigh. She swung her legs while licking the treat, humming a tune as if this was the happiest day of her life...I really don't get this kid.
"That tune... where did you hear it?" I ask her a little curious
"Daddy is always singing this song! he says it was mommy's favorite" She smiled brightly
"was?" I repeat
"mhm" she nodded, her head dropping a little " daddy barely talks about himself, he only talks about mom....but" she looked up at the sky "Daddy barely has time to talk now" she frowned at the sky.
"i'm...sorry" I manage to say, this kid sure smiles a lot despite all this
"why are you apologizing?" she asked "You didn't do anything" she smiles and ate her icecream cone. I sighed, finding a smile on my face.

BOOM

The ground shakes as the kid grasps her sticky hands onto me with a shriek, I looked up ahead seeing some dust rise up
"I don't have time to babysit"I stand up, looking down at the kid who had let go of me and covered her head as more noise went around, our conversations came back to my head, is she not going to hold onto me? Ask me not to go like other kids usually do?
That's right...his girl barely has any family around....she has learnt to depend on herself rather on others....
I sigh, picking the shaken up girl into my arms, this must have what Kurama meant...to take care of the victims rather than focus on where the news reporters will focus...

"Just you wait you villain!" A random hero shouted as they floated in the air "I am (lame hero name) and i'm here to get you!" he announced as he flew towards the villain. As he flew he was destroying quite a lot of stuff, in mid fight more people were put in danger, flashbacks of Kurama's angry face crossed my mind and I, too, started getting angry
"How can they just cause so much trouble trying to catch the villain?! They're doing more damage than the villain is!" I shout as I run away from falling pieces of buildings. Sunny who was holding holding onto herself had now wrapped her arms around my neck, I found myself helping others who crossed my way until—

"Watch out!" A familiar voice called out and I felt a push, as I felt myself fall onto the floor I immediately covered Sunny's head.
"ow..." I said to myself as I rubbed my butt
"Are you alright?" the same voice asks
"Daddy!" I hear Sunny call out cheerfully and I finally lift my head. In front of us was Doctor Kurama, his messy hair and white coat blew in the wind; a trail of people appeared out of the shadows of the broken buildings, they seemed to have treated wounds which I guess Kurama treated. I felt myself stare at his back as he stood looking straight ahead to where the villain was, his back seemed to be bigger than usual as his voice deeper as well; his face was as serious as when he works, if not more.
"I need you to look after Sunny for a little longer please" he glanced back at me and walked ahead towards where the trouble was
"what are you planning on doing?" I ask as I stood up, Sunny still in my arms "You're a doctor! wouldn't it be better if you stayed with the victims?" I ran up to him

"You forget that I am a hero as well" He said simply before pulling out his phone and calling someone as he kept walking.

Timeskip

I stared dumbfounded, Kurama and Y/N made an awesome team. Y/N had not used once her quirk and I found out Kurama's quirk was "Bloody Mary", a horror like big doll that appeared when he activated his quirk, she was like a nurse (a really creepy one, I can see why he doesn't use it often...) Her many limbs provided with many doctor's gadgets that he used during the fight. Surprisingly, that isn't what made impressed..it was the fact that he fought and helped people around him at the same time..he really is impressive, I .....I want to be like that.

Y/N POV

Kurama was finally reunited with his daughter, he hugged her tightly and I could tell all his worried flew away right at that moment, though he kept glaring at me for losing her in the first place;;
"I'm happy that he finally found her" Fuwafuwa said as he stepped next to me, I nodded.

"Please let me know if there's any way I can thank you" He said to Midnight, she shook her head
"there's no need" she smiled then patted Sunny's head. Hm? That's strange...
Midnight seemed to notice something on Kurama's face and reached for it. Oh, I think I get it, I smiled to myself, Midnight seems to be growing a thing for Kurama.

I had to reset my phone and I was sick and most of the chapter was gone so I had to rewrite it and stuff;;
basically a lot of stuff happened

I am going to try update more, just college and things are starting to be overwhelming
I hope I don't take too long!
