"Kale! What the hell?"
"I'm sorry, Bradley. I lost mine!"
Yes, Kale stole my brush.
"Give it back! I need it!" I reach for it, but he holds it up to where I can't get it.
He scoffs. "You don't ever brush your hair. You only want it, because I have it." I narrow my eyes and cross my arms over my chest. His eyes flicker down for a moment. "Tsk, tsk, tsk. You know better than to do that Bradley, especially around me." He wraps his arms around my waist, pulling us together.
An idea pops into my mind. "Really, Kale? What are you gonna do about it?" I place my hands on his forearms, rubbing them.
"This -" He leans down so his lips are about a centimeter from mine. I close my eyes and smile. Then, I turn around quickly and rip my brush from his hands and smile in victory. He looks shocked. "What the hell, Bradley?" He says, defeated.
"Thank you for the brush!" I give him a peck on the lips and run out of his room and into mine to get ready for school. "Sweet, sweet victory!"

I let out a loud sigh as I step out of my math class. "God I hate that class." I mumble, pulling my straps up on my shoulders."Yeah, same here." I hear an unfamiliar voice. I look to my left to see an unfamiliar face. "Bradley, right?"
I nod slowly, "Who are you?"
"Oh! My bad. I'm Colin, I'm also in your math class." He sticks his hand out for me to shake. I place my hand in his and shake it.
"Nice to meet you." He grins. I smile back. He's kind of cute. "So, where you headed?" I ask.
He looks at me confused, "Lunch? Are you not?" I mentally facepalm.
"Of course, I am. Do you want to sit with me?"
His eyes widen for a small second, "Uh, um are you sure? I mean, I guess, yeah." He stutters out. I grin and shake my head, grabbing his hand.
"Come with me." I pretty much yanked him down the hallway into the cafeteria and all the way to my table. After practically throwing him down into a seat, I sit next to him and take a deep breath.
"You're always making new friends, aren't you?" I hear the voice of my best friend. I look to see her mid eye-roll. "The names Jessica, call me Jess." She nods to Colin.
"Um, Colin." He clears his throat.
"Who's the new guy?" Damon asks, sitting across from me.
"I'll explain when everyone gets here, so he doesn't have to say fourteen times." I tell him.
Damon smirks, "Lover boy is not going to like this." I look at him confused. "Kale?" He leans closer to whisper. "You didn't hear it from me, but he's the jealous type." I roll my eyes.
I look around the lunch room trying to find Kale and see him with Justin, talking to Brittany. She was saying something with her chest pushed forward towards Kale, while Justin was nodding sarcastically and Kale was standing there with his arms crossed. I catch Damon looking at them and back at me before he cleared his throat and yelled their names. I looked to him with wide eyes, ducking my head, embarrassed.
"What the hell, Damon?"
He just shrugged, then leaned closer again to whisper something else, "Hey. I think you're the jealous type too." I pulled back and slapped him arm. "What? I mean, if I were you, I'd test him." He nods towards Colin and I immediately know what he means.
