i met you in the midnight of my life when no stars lit the sky above no moon to show you the way a hell you could never love yet, you gathered every piece of me and loved me till you broke apart loved me till you lost yourself in the never ending darkness of my heart i was the black hole swallowing you up taking away your brightness and colour and yet, you were stupid enough to stay it was in your blood - the foolishness and the valour when i couldn't watch you fade thats when i left you i wish i could tell you how hard it was to push you away and pretend to start new how hard it was to leave your light and retreat to my private hell because i'm scared of the dark but i've been here so long, no one could tell i've stopped letting in people like you like sunshine, like hope in me i search for stars to light my dark my midnight, just so I could see i loved you enough to leave you but maybe if you were the moon i would have stayed.
