~ AVENGERS COMPOUND NATASHAS POV ~
"Hadid Walker, scientist working at the Head of the Life Foundation among other scientists and head founder Carlton Drake. Hadid worked in the research division searching for habitable planets." Bruce told us, flipping through a few papers he had clipped to his clipboard.
I quickly scribbled down the important parts, the blue ball point pen gliding smoothly across the lined paper in my notebook.
"What would Hydra want with a scientist in that line of work?" Clint asked, propping his feet up on the dark oak table.
"And make a big deal out of it. I mean they could have easily sent a few agents in... instead they send Venom." Steve ran his nimble fingers through his blonde locks.
"Carlton is the one who funds NASA space missions, right?" I asked, tapping the ball point pen idly against the wooden table.
"Yeah. Mans got more money than Stark." Bruce chuckled.
"That's not true." Tony raised a bushy eyebrow at Banner.
"I want reports of all the space missions Carlton Drake signed off on." I told Bruce, scribbling a few more thoughts down on the white paper.
"What's running through your head, Nat?" Clint asked, leaning forward in his chair to see what I was writing down.
"It doesn't make sense for Hydra to be working with a scientist exploring space, unless they're looking for something." I glanced at Clint and the others in the room, "Maybe there's something in the reports we can find that will tell us something."
"Whatever they're looking for, it must be big enough for them to send Venom and expose themselves." Steve sighed.
"They knew we would be watching." Tony commented rubbing his chin, "I mean, where did the symbiote Venom even come from?"
"Space most likely. The thing isn't from this planet." Thor shrugged, some of his blonde strands of hair moving against his face.
"Thors right. That thing has the ability to heal and destroy. It's more powerful than her original spider powers." Bruce nodded.
"I think we just figured out why they need Carlton Drake." Steve sighed, his forehead creasing down ever so slightly as a new look of determination replaced his exhausted like state.

"I believe humans have room to evolve. I hope to one day find a planet suitable enough for us to build a new home upon. A new life. A new start. There's so much we don't know about space and the planets orbiting around, that we might find something of use. As a boy I always thought outside of the box... maybe the key to our evolution is up in the stars."
