In Loving Memory

We gather today
As brothers and sisters
For the death of nature
Is too much to bare
Her beauty
Her fragrance
Her signature pose
All clear in our minds
Like the tears that fall
I now welcome
Her son to speak

My mother was a beauty like no other
Strong
A force to be reckoned with
She was home
And her love so selfless
And pure
That I often wonder
Why I took part in her death
I built industries
That polluted her fragrance
Wrecked her luscious mane of cloud
And tears of acids to drip down her skin
Yet every time my father warned me
I turned around and start all over
Now it's no lie
That her death pains me
I believe she didn't deserve this
But with all that my hands have done
Can I say truly cared?

We gather today
For the love of a mother
Whose selfless heart
Was the cause of her death
We gather today
With a thousand tears
To erase the guilt
That chokes us here
