Chapter 1: panic

My name is Lockwood I was only 15 years old. I had many friends. but mostly i had my sister. She can be annoying but its still fun to play with her. we are protected by knights and warriors in case we get raided by barbarians or other warriors and knights. I once heard a Legend about how 5 people with different powers inside who couldn't die and could live for thousands and thousands of years. They call them the 5 souls of the whole kingdom. 5 people who served for the people with powerful swords, strong fists and bodies and magic staffs. They say the captain could destroy 3 towns with one blow only using a quarter of his power. This amazed me, his name was Mantin which is funny because my last name is Mantin. This legend could go on forever as his companions come from different magic types. Like the fairy kingdom, Giant kingdom, Wolf kingdom, The Human Kingdom and the most feared Demon kingdom. The 5 souls were chosen by life its self from different kingdoms. Its said that Mantin was chosen from the Demon Kingdom. He was from the demon race? But why is he so nice. But no one knew. This led to a whole new mystery. Father kept saying he knew but i don't think so. My father was the captain and leader of the knights and warriors. He fought so many times and didnt get a single scratch. 

1 year later. 

Here is one thing i find weird about my birthday. I always turn 15. Last year I was 15. The year before I was 15 and even the one before. I thought of this in bed when suddenly a siren wails out from the castle. I look outside seeing fighting and even one came into our house. Luckily the other day my dad almost forgot his sword from the castle. Without it we wouldn't be alive. My mum and dad told me to bolt it to the forest with my sister which was a baby. I ran with the baby as fast as i could into the forest. I looked back and no one was following. I stop to breathe. At the other end I see the outside of the forest which was a clear landscape of rocks and bushes. I walk tiredly step after step. Huffing and puffing and i felt like i was going to be stranded. but maybe i spoke to soon because next thing i know is a huge dog carrying what seems to be a house next on top. but as soon as i looked up i fell down getting unconscious.
