Chapter 8: Brightest Star

Jennie's POV

Its already wednesday, and its my photoshoot later. Lisa is my photographer by the way, she agreed and i was not informed that she already know that she was my photographer. I wonder how will we go after that proposal. And worser, when we will give our answer to it.

I already have my answer ever since that day, and it was Yes. Lisa may thought that i planned this but no, i did not. It is totally my father's and i didn't know that our company is facing big problems. My father didnt tell me about that, well. I asked him after the Manobans left.

FLASHBACK

"Appa, can i talk to you? and ask you some questions if it's possible" I asked him

"Sure princess, go at the balcony. Wait me there, i will just get changed" I nodded and went straight to the balcony, i can clearly see the pool outside. And the moon shining, and also the stars.

Stars always remind me of Lisa, she was my brightest star back then, she was my happy pill, my home, my comfort, love of my life.

I treated her like shit at the remaining days we spent. Because i know it was coming, i know that she'll know about the bet. It was stupid that i agreed to the gang.

I knew i was fucked up the day i realized what i feel for her. I never knew that i was slowly falling and she was slowly leaving.

Always thinking that if i just shouldnt entered and agreed to that god damn bet, we would be happy 'til now. Happy living together, i guess?

I was a total jerk for her back then, i treated her badly and she treated me like how i deserve. She was like just a man but into a woman body, a very gentleman person. She respected me in any way, we kiss, but she never touched me.

"I love you so much, Nini. I hope you know that" She said against my lips, i smiled. "I love you too."

"I'll wait for you until you're ready, i dont want to rush things and i dont want to make you uncomfortable, i will always put my respect on you, remember that."

I just smiled at the thought, she said that to me when we were alone at her apartment.

I didnt notice that my father was already beside me, he faked a cough that made my clouded thoughts stop.

"What are you thinking about, princess?"
He asked while he sat at the other side of the couch.

"Nothing, i just miss her." I answered with full honesty, i couldnt lie to my own father because he know me very well.

"Oh, okay. What are you going to ask me?"

"Nothing, im just curious on why you didnt tell me that our other company is facing financial problems."

"Oh that, i just dont want you to be more stressed. Because you're already working and holding a company. I can clearly see that you're always tired and stressed everyday. It is shown in your eyes, dont lie to me Jennie."

"You're right, Appa. Thank you for your concern."

"And you just said that you miss her, why dont you make a move?"

"I will, and im planning to get her back. And about that proposal you gave that will be a big help i guess?"

"It will, trust me. Just wait, patience darling. She'll trust you soon, i know it. Just dont do what you've done in the past. I know that you've changed for her, and show her that. That you're worthy to love, again."

"Thank you, Appa. I'll do my best, and i got to go now. I have something to do"

"Take care, ill see you soon."

PRESENT

And that's why i love my father so much. After my mom died, he was the only one who's left for me. Im glad that he's not against my decision. And infact he always supports me on what i do.

God, and there was Lisa. She came into my life on my senior highschool.

I am so whipped on her, god damn it. I need to make a move before anyone else gets her, and ill make sure that their life will be a living hell.
