Chapter 3: A new beginning

THREE YEARS LATER - LISA's POV

It feels good to be back here in Korea, i was in Thailand with Jungkook for 3 years and we graduated college there.

We also met new friends, Seulgi, Momo, Hwasa & Soyeon. They helped me to heal, and was at my side everytime. Jungkook has a girlfriend already, his girlfriend is my bestfriend Rosé, they started to hang when we were in Thailand because she's also with us. Surprising, right?

We are currently at my old apartment, i guess this is where Jungkook and I lived back then. Nostalgic, i suddenly remembered someone.

Im planning on to work here as a photographer since my profession is taking pictures, while Jungkook i guess he'll be a, idrk and Rosé will be a model.

"Lisa, when will we look for a job?' Kookie asked me, i shrugged. "I don't know, Korea feels new to me. Maybe tomorrow we'll go out"

"Okay, Maybe i'll talk to Jisoo. I heard they own a company, i dont know what's the name yet"
Jungkook said, i just nodded in response.

We're strolling around Seoul and we'll go to Jisoo's company, i guess ill sign up there as a photographer. Hm, maybe Rosé will be my model.

AT THE KIM GROUP OF COMPANY

Woah, this building is huge. I wonder who's the CEO here.

"Goodmorning, we're looking for Kim Jisoo"
Jungkook said.

"For what ma'am?" The Guard asked

"Well we're looking for a job and she told us to apply here" Jungkook explained.

"Oh, okay wait let me just call her assistant"

God there's a lot of workers here, i think i might get lost. The building contains 12 floors, and Jisoo's office is at the 11th floor while the CEO's is at the last floor.

"Hello, can you assist me to Ms. Jisoo's office?" Jungkook asked politely to a worker.

"Sure sir, ill lead the way just follow me"

Me, Rosé and Jungkook entered Jisoo's office.

"Kookie! Its been a while, how are you?"
Jisoo excitedly said.

"Im fine, and we just came back from thailand"

"You're looking for a job, right?"

"Yes, uh this is Lisa, she's a very professional photographer, very known in thailand. This is Rosé, a model, has a veeeeeery good body, has a nice personality. And about me, i don't know. Hire me in any position you want. If its possible"

"Oh, we have a lot of slots for now, i will just talk to the CEO"

Jungkook nodded, we bowed our head as a sign of respect.

JISOO's

If im not mistaken, the other woman with Kook is Lisa. I know its her, jeez. She changed a lot, she got thin, prettier, uh an ideal woman. I wonder how will Jennie react if she'll see Lisa.

Im walking to her office at the 12th floor, well her father is the owner of the company and passed the throne to Jennie when we graduated so... She's the CEO here.

I didnt knock at her door. She's used to it already.

"Mandu!" I shouted, as usual. She's always busy with her paperworks. Nothing changed on her, same attitude, height. She's more prettier now i can say.

"What do you want? Cant you see im busy?"
She's pissed. Her mood is something that you cant handle.

"Someone's signing up, 3 persons to be exact. Slot for a photographer, model and anything you want him to be."

"Just give them the Job i dont have time to interview"

"Are you sure you don't wanna see her?"

"Who the fuck are you talking about Jisoo?"

"Oh, im talking about the 𝘸𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮𝘴"

"Who the fuck is the woman of my dreams?!"

"Such a fucking dummy, its Lisa."

Her expression changed, she turned all of het attention to me. I guess she's shocked.

"Its impossible that Lisa's looking for a job, she's in Thailand. How am i suppose to believe you?" Jennie stated.

"I guess you should see her for yourself, wait. Let me call them" I left her office after then went straight to my office.

"Jungkook, Lisa and Rosé, right? Come with me. The CEO wants to talk to you"

"Sorry to ask, but who's the CEO?" Lisa asked.

"Oh, her name is Kim Jennie. I guess you know her. Schoolmate back then"

"Oh, okay. Lets go" Lisa said, but still in her happy mood. I guess she isn't affected anymore.

"Wait, let me enter first and I'll call you"

I entered Jennie's office.

"I bet you'll pay me a lot of chickens after this, goodluck Jennie"

"Just make it quick, im busy" Jennie said.

"Let me just call them"

I called Lisa, Jungkook then Rosé.

I went close to Jennie and whispered "10 chickens is enough, enjoy eye-fucking Lisa"

JENNIE's

Im totally more than pissed, im having a very stressful day you can say.

Its actually her, its Lisa. My Lisa. Its still her all along, i dont know what to do.

I miss her, i missed her so much. But wow, she changed a lot. Holy shit, her doe fucking eyes, slim body, and long legs.

Its been 3 years since i last saw her. Im more than nervous right now, what if she's mad at me? How can i get her back. Stupid.

I snapped out when they greeted me.

"Goodmorning, Ms. Kim" JK, Lisa and i guess the other girl is Lisa's friend.

"Goodmorning."

After the 'interview' i excused Lisa. I want to talk to her, about the past.

"Uh, Lisa? Can i talk to you for a while? If you dont mind"

Lisa nodded, "Sure"

"How are you, its been a while" I sadly asked.

I was expecting her to be cold towards me, but she isnt.

"Oh, im fine Ms. Kim, How about you?"

𝘐 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶, how i wanna say that.

"Im also fine, and please just call me Jennie. Running a company is really stressing"

She nodded, "Okay, Jennie." Then she became silent. I can feel the awkwardness here.

"Oh anyways, Lisa? Im sorry for what I've done back then"

"What do you mean, i just met you today. Why are you saying sorry?"

I was taken aback with her answer, i think she has forgotten me. I mean, its been 3 years tho.

"Oh nevermind, i must go. It was nice meeting you. Goodluck on your job, 𝘪 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶" i whispered the last part while walking.

I didnt notice that my tears are already falling, it hurts. It really hurts, how can she forget me that easy. Well i know why she went to thailand. Its because she wants to heal herself and bury it all in the past.

Its gonna be a long day.
