She stood out from the crowd. Most definitely with her springy curls and looks.She didn't notice me. Odd, as I too stand out. She was alone, standing by the food truck waiting for her order. Her tight baby blue tank top accentuated her ebony skin. Her black jeans taut against her clearly toned legs.
My mouth nearly watered as my eyes drunk her in. Her gaze stayed on her phone, her long and thin fingers dancing across the screen briskly. I tsked under
my breath with annoyance. I disliked it when people were too engrossed with their phones. We would eventually work on that.Her order number was finally called and she looked up from the dim lit screen with excitement. I swooned at how breathtaking her face was. Her features were so delicate but from her aura, it was clear she was anything but.
As she turned away from the truck, food in hand, we briefly made eye contact.
My heart stopped for a second.
Yes, she was definitely perfect.
She would be mine.
