My stomach growled as I grabbed the hotdog from the vendors hand, quickly thanking him.

I looked up and made brief eye contact with a handsome man. Normally I'd go up to him and flirt both of our pants off, but I'm hungry.

Priorities.

I walked over to the table and joined my friends. I sat and immediately started chowing down the hotdog nearly moaning at the taste.

"Hey, slow down! You're going to choke," Farrah, my partner in crime since pre school, chided. Everyone at the table laughed. I rolled my eyes and continued eating as though I were a starved animal.

"You guys forced me here, I'm hoping I choke." I answered after swallowing. again, earning a few laughs and eye rolls.

We were currently at the state fair. laughter, screams and music filled the night sky. The smells of both food and body odor were slowly giving me a headache.

"This place stinks," I grunted after I finished the last of my hotdog.

"Cheer up, you barely leave the house. You need this." Harvey answered with a snort. I looked over at him with a straight face. His olive toned skin somehow glowing under the harsh lights set up by the city.

"I need this? What exactly do I need? The atrocious smells of greasy food and greasy people? This is why I prefer being home cuddled up with my dog." I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. I've had my husky, Snow, ever since I was a kid; I basically grew up with him.

My friends all shook their heads and continued to speak amongst themselves. I sighed and looked around, trying to find either a game or food truck to tackle. My eyes met with the same man from before.

What the..

He was still in the same spot, right by the ring toss area. His eyes bore into mine with such an intensity that I felt nauseous for a moment.

"Yo, this guy keeps looking at me," I squirmed around awkwardly.

My friends stopped talking and looked at me then turned their gaze to where I was just looking.

"Who?" Annette, Harvey's sister, questioned.

I looked back to where the man was just standing and saw he was gone. I made a face and looked around, trying to find him.

"He was right by the ring toss but he's gone now. That's so weird," I shivered. "I saw him earlier when I was getting my hotdog. He was fine as hell but now I'm just creeped out."

"Alessandra getting checked out by a fine man?" Alistair, the clown of the group, put a finger up to his chin. "Never happened before." He finished sarcastically with a wide smile on his face.

I rolled my eyes once again and slapped his shoulder playfully. My friends once again went back to their conversations while I leaned back to look at them, completely forgetting about the man from
before.
