The next day
Janet's POV
When I woke up I was in our bed, alone. Yesterday wasn't the worst argument we have had surprisingly. Other fights were physical before I got pregnant, but they stopped because we stopped arguing. Honestly I don't know when everything went wrong. I noticed that it was three o'clock so I decided to check my phone. I had 27 missed calls from Toni and 4 from Gil. I wasn't in the mood for anyone except Icelyn.

The door to my house opened as I was laying in bed I was hoping it was my wife, but as soon as I heard the voice I regretted giving people keys to my house.

"What the HELL." Was all I heard and pretended to be sleep because  three seconds later Toni busted through my bedroom doors.

"Janet I know your ass isn't still sleep after you done heard my loud ass. Wake the hell up! What happened downstairs your living room is destroyed looks like a tornado hit." She took her shoes off and climbed in the bed.

"You only saw the living room? My kitchen is even worse. Don't worry about it though no one was hurt.... physically." I sat up in the bed and just stared at my hands. Toni touched my shoulder and I just broke down.

"Yesterday was a tough time for Icelyn and I made it worse. The one day of the year were it should be all about her it wasn't. She had the toughest decision to make and made that decision to please me. The one thing she has always wanted to be was a mom and that was ripped away from her and on top of all that i'm a bad wife."

"Janet you aren't a bad wife. Somethings are just out of our control, God does things for a reason....... he has a plan just trust in him." Janet looks at Toni and nods her head in agreement and sighs.

"Now I love you, so we are going to go to lunch and we are going to shop for my godson or daughter all on me. Then maybe we can have a sleepover if your up for it, but before any of that you need a shower." Toni nudged me and laughs.

"Oh hush you love it, okay whatever i'm down for it as long as your paying and the sleepover is at your place because my house is......a mess."

"Yeah of course now go shower!" We laughed and about an hour and a half later we were in Gus's Barbecue. I have never been here before but Toni swears its good.

"So has she called you today?" Toni asks because she sees me eyeing my phone.

"No we usually don't speak to each other after a fight until we are in person because it usually ends better that way." I smirked and Toni gagged.

"I do not want to hear about your bedroom activities." I rolled my eyes.

"Girl please you should want to I mean I could give you a few tricks." I laughed as I took a sip of my water.

"Anyway about this Rock and Roll Hall of Fame congratulations girl. So are you going or  what?" I looked at Toni like she was crazy.

"I mean thanks, I guess, it was long over due. Yeah i'm going Icelyn is making me I guess that's were we are announcing our marriage and pregnancy." I smiled at the thought of the world knowing about us. Then Toni had to go and ruin it.

"How do you think the world is going to take The Janet Jackson with a woman younger than her and pregnant?" I definitely just caught a little attitude from that question.

"Toni they won't be able to find her she doesn't have social media. Please stop acting like Tamar with all these messy ass questions your really killing my little bit of happiness I have left." I stood up to leave the restaurant because one the food was nasty and two she just pissed me off.

"Janet sit down your making a scene for no reason."

"No Toni lets go your taking me to your house I don't want to go shopping anymore." I said as I walked out and got in the car.

"Janet we are going shopping plus you promised me that you would be on the show one time and your not showing right now today is the perfect day."

"Okay Toni I got you but you know the drill no questions about my love life or kids." I squinted my eyes at her and then instructed the driver to go to the mall. After about four hours of shopping for ourselves we went back to Toni's house.

"Thanks for that Jan the fans have been asking to see you even if it's only for a few minutes." We sat on her couch talking.

"Oh it's nothing Tone, where are the boys I don't see them as often because they are always in an audition or practice."

"Yeah I know they are growing up but they are at Tamar's for tonight so it's just us and whoever is in there." She point to my stomach and laughed.

"Yeah I can't wait to be a mother- oww ssshit that hurt." Toni looked at me out the corner of her eye. "ahhhh sssstop kicking me. Toni are you really going to sit there what if I was going into labor?"

"Girl I didn't know what the hell was happening with you I was mentally preparing myself to deliver that baby." We busted out laughing because we all know she would've passed out. We stopped laughing because my phone started ringing. We both looked at the phone than at each other.

It was Icelyn.
