"Thank you for shopping at Hot Topic." I said smiling fakingly. It's not that I hated my job, I just hated people. Just think of how annoying it is having peppy white girls coming in here, buying Nirvana shirts and asking who Kurt Cobain is. Yeah that happens on a daily basis.
I saw that the 5 seconds of summer needed to be restocked. I groaned. Why did people even like them? They're not even punk rock. The drummer acted like a little kitten, the blonde with the blue eyes and a lip piercing was just a wannabe, the Asian one looked like he could be one of those dancers and the only decent one was the one that dyed his hair every two months.
I didn't know what his name was but he was pretty cute. I walked into the back of the store, grabbing some of their merch. Who the fuck is "punk rock" and puts a puppy on their shirt. Must of been the drummers idea he looks like a real softie.
I walked out of the back and walked over to their merch stand, folded and put the shirts on the shelf. After I was done I walked back behind the cash register. I heard the bell on the counter ring. I looked up from picking off the black nail polish off my nails.
My light brown eyes met icy blue ones. "Can I help you?" I asked.
"Actually yes." his thick Aussie accent rang out. I looked behind him and three other boys were staring at me behind him.
I smirked. "Hey arn't you those wanna-be punk rocker boys?" i asked. The one that looked like a puppy with big arms cleared his throat and said "We're men not boys."
'Doesn't sound like it." I shot back. He rolled his eyes and looked at the floor. The asian one that looked like Brock from Pokemon spoke up. "Yes we're 5 Seconds of Summer and we are very punk rock if you should know." he fired back.
"Yeah very punk rock of you to put a puppy on your merch." I said with sarcasm in my vocie.
