As I thought about that day that changed my life forever, I wondered what would've happened if something had gone differently.

"Baby, Baby wake up." I woke up to the sound of my wife, Y/N.

"Wait, what the hell! What are you doing here?"

"Brandon, baby you need to calm down, what's wrong?" She said.

"No no no this isn't supposed to be happening. You are with Zion, not me Zion."

Third POV

"Not me, Zion." Brandon muffled. Then woke up to his 9 month old daughter playing with his face.

"Lily can daddy have his face back?" But of course the child continued, so he took matters into his own hands and sat the child up in his lap.

"Babygirl I thought your mommy was supposed to pick you up last night." He says rocking her. Lily responded in lots babbles before turning her attention to the opening door. The baby erupted in squeals as her favorite person entered the room, other than her father, of course.

"Aww.. Lily come here." Y/N cheered walking towards the two.

She picks her up out of B's arms, then proceeded to inform him of the actions of the child's mother.

"So, Charlotte dmed me on Instagram saying that she's going to be out of town for awhile because of the pressure of having a baby, which is quite stupid if you ask me." He groaned at the selfish acts of his ex.

"Sounds like something she was say and do, god why her?" Y/N chuckled.

"Hey, she gave you the most precious being in the world so be thankful, some people can't have what you do."

"You're right, speaking of the most precious being in my life can you watch her till I'm done getting ready?" He asked cheesing harder than a guilty seven year old.

"I don't see why you ask anymore." She said walking out of the room.

Brandon sat there for a while thinking about the last few years. "What if..."

Meanwhile in the living room, Y/N was dancing around the house with Lily in her arms.

"Lily you stole my fiancé." Zion pouted. Y/N turned to his direction and stuck her tongue which made the baby start giggling.

"You made him jealous didn't you. Doesn't he look cute when he's jealous." Y/N said in a baby voice while biting her lip at the last part. Zion winked at her then went into the kitchen.

"How can she be talking in a baby voice, holding a baby and still make it nasty?" Edwin asked.

"Boy, if you don't." She warned.

"He ain't wrong though, anyways I found this package for B on the doorstep." Nick said walking into the room.

"Who's it from, I don't think he was expecting anything?" Y/N asked.

"It says Superior Court of California." He read. Y/N's mood shifted immediately, she put Lily in her high chair.

"Why the fuck would Brandon be in trouble with the law?" Y/N asked looking into the package further.

"Yo, these are adoption papers!" Nick exclaimed capturing everyone's utmost attention.

"And this bitch already signed them."
