Mario: Ok Meggy ready to head on home?
Meggy: Yes I am Mario.
Mario: Ok bye everyone.
Meggy: Bye everyone.
Everyone else: Bye you two.
Mario and Meggy was walking home until they ran into some stranger.
Mario: oof sorry about that.
???: It's ok.
Meggy: Who are you?
???: That's out of the question you two will be perfect for an experiment I'm doing.
Both: WHAT?!
The stranger knocks out both Mario and Meggy unconscious and takes them to a secret lab in an abandoned Octarian base and they wake up in different tubes.
Meggy: Uggh what happened?
Mario: Ugh I'm asking the same thing.
???: Oh I see you are awake, hehehe.
Mario (yelling): WHO ARE YOU?!!!!
???: The name is Dark Squid.
Meggy gasps and Mario is confused.
Meggy: Dark Squid, what do you want now.
Mario: Umm I literally never heard of you.
Dark Squid: Really you don't know who I am?
Mario: Never hears of you.
Meggy: Dark Squid is the arch enemy of Alex Spider.
Dark Squid: That's right.
Dark Squid chuckles evilly and tells another dark inkling to turn on the machine connected to Mario and Meggy's tubes.
A few minutes later....
Dark Squid told the dark inkling to shut off the machine and let Mario and Meggy out. As soon as the dark inkling let out Mario and Meggy, they both attacked and splatted the dark inkling.
Dark Squid: Mario and Meggy stop this instant!!! What's wrong they should be under my control.
Meggy started to choke Dark Squid mysteriously with some sort of super strength and Mario some how slung Dark Squid around like a rag doll but without touching her.
Meggy: What the hell, how am I this strong now?
Mario: I have no clue but how did I sling her around without touching her?
Right when they were thinking a lightbulb went off in Mario's head.
Mario: I think we have super powers Meggy.
Meggy was shocked and surprised.
