Ok first of all I would like to thanks And do a little add for DeclanMaini ! I met him on reddit and through a follow up on shenanigans I ended up giving him ideas for saimatsu smut ! This story takes place approximately 1 month after the end on the 53th season of danganronpa . To summarize, after the victory of Shuichi Saihara , Maki Harukawa and Himiko Yumeno over team danganronpa more and more person began to take it off once and for all , and thus begin a revolution ... However unlike what you could expect the man who challenged team danganronpa , the main protagonist of danganronpa V3 , Shuichi Saihara.. Wasn't a part of the revolution . Why ? You ask ? It's pretty simple , it's not that Shuichi changed sides or anything , he really hates danganronpa with all his soul and will do anything so that those killing games will stop forever . But team danganronpa knows that .

When they got out of the V3 , Maki and Shuichi got captured by team danganronpa , by some kind of miracle (call it magic if you want ) However Himiko yumeno managed to escape !

As for Shuichi and Maki they ended up in "Observation for their own safety" ... yeah they were being kept hostage in cells by team danganronpa . The Company needed them alive , Shuichi didn't know why but it seemed like they did , for one month the two never saw each other , never knowing if the other one was still alive , they both got barely enough to eat or drink . And though they weren't any torture for them , here they were . Trapped . Just like in The Killing game , just even more alone ...

Yet one day Shuichi Saihara woke up , early. He had heard something ... an explosion ... then another one .. he started to ear some shout , some gun noises , more explosion and an outright panic . The prison where he was being kept was getting assaulted .. He didn't knew by who , didn't knew why . But he didn't care , right now he was just happy .. This night he was going either to escape or to die and go where the ones he missed were waiting for him . In either case , He'll be free . He only had to wait a few seconds before seeing someone , A soldier he didn't recognize at all , when they gaze met the soldier shout immediately : " TARGET LOCATED ! I'M GETTING HIM OUT ! " He then faced Shuichi "I'll bust you out of here sir , take a step back." Shuichi did so and the soldier exploded his cells door allowing him to finally get out .. two soldier came by his sides hand helped him rise on his feet ."Can you walk sir ? "

"I'll do my best " Responded Shuichi , he walked , and though he wasn't injured he was tired , really tired .. the pair of soldier helped him walk until he was out of here . And at that moment Shuichi saw two things . Two things Who filled him with joy and a sense of melancholy... the black sky , without bars , with real oxygen and everything .. and Maki Harukawa , who seemed in a slightly better state than him . "HA-HARUKAWA - SAN ! " Shuichi shouted out of joy ... he had lost so many friends than seeing one of them alive was the greatest thing he could see !

"Saihara - Kun ! You're fine ! " they both reunited and shared some tears , there wasn't anything romantic between them but they were close friend who Would without problem put their life's into each other's hands  . "Sir , Miss We don't have much Time , please follow us " The soldier who seemed in charge of the operation said , Shuichi and Maki both looked At eachother and nodded , with his state there was no way that Shuichi and her could run from them .. so they decided to trust the soldiers , they jumped into the van of the militaries with the five other soldiers while the commander drove the thing "Chief to base , both target acquired , one of them seems absolutely unharmed , the other seems in a state of fatigue but nothing too important , we are now heading to base"
