"So, Mr Devil, what brings you here?" Aditi asked getting up. "Well, I pushed a poor girl over, so I was nice and polite, like I am always and I came over to check how she is. She fell back pretty hard you know," he said flaring his chest forward "These Rock hard abs aren't soft you know. Packs of steel I have." He added making them laugh. "So where is the victim of the fall anyway?" he asked and Aditi moved aside, revealing Naina behind her. "I'm so so sorry..." he said replacing Aditi's seat next to her and taking a pause not knowing her name to which Avi responded quickly "Naina, Ash, her name is Naina, god you're so inconsiderate," he said making them laugh again. Naina liked hanging out with these guys, they made her feel as if there's not a care in the world.

Soon enough, Aditi noticed Naina's broken glasses and spoke up, breaking tha laughs that the group had been having for the past half an hour. "Oh my god, Naina, we should probably go get your glasses fixed," Aditi said, pulling Naina up. "I'm so sorry guys, I'll see you two tomorrow." she said gathering their many bags and heading to the opticians, which was luckily near them, so they quickly briefly walked in and got Naina's glasses fixed. Aditi wasn't just happy with this though. She insisted that Naina buy some contact lenses, much to her denial, but Aditi payed no heed, and then paid for both items, refusing to listen to anything that Naina said, until they reached the car. "So are you going to come or not?" Aditi asked, leaning against her car, "Where exactly Adi?" Naina asked fiercely trying to open the car door, to this Aditi answered very bluntly, as if it was obvious "To India." Naina rolled her eyes and shook her head, going back to trying to open the car door. It was obvious to Naina that Aditi was annoyed at her, but she knew that she had to stand her place, if she listened to Aditi, then she knew that her mum would kill her. Because of this, the whole car journey back home was silent. An awkward tension hung in the air and Naina couldn't have been happier to get out of the car, just to avoid the awkwardness. even if Aditi was her best friend, she could get very easily irritated. So when she did reach her house, by the time she turned around to day bye, her best friend had already whizzed off, leaving her standing alone on the pavement in front of her house.

Naina sighed and opened the door to her house. she was not greeted to a nice warm welcome, but to the harsh shouting of her mother at some poor person in the house. She walked in, getting ready to be shouted at as well by her mother. She walked into the kitchen, getting herslef a glass of water, "And where have you been young lady?" she said turning round to talk to Naina. "I was shopping with Aditi." Naina answered her bluntly, still not turning to face her. "Why were you worried mother?" a voice behind her made her stop and finally turn around. To her surprise, it was her older brother Adi. "Bhaiyya," she squealed, turning around to hug him, and he replied by picking her up and spinning her round there was only 2 years of difference between the two, and Naina was very close to him. Soon enough, with the blabbering of the two drowned out their mother's shouting, which Naina was very glad. She loved her mother, she had cared for her whole life, but no matter what Naina did, it was never enough for her mother, her brother had been lucky to escape, he had gone to the states as soon as he graduated, and stayed there, where he did his PhD, and very rarely came back to visit.

Soon enough, their mother had pulled them out of their conversation, with the reasoning being that if Naina didn't get back to studying, then her grades would slip, then it would be the end of the world, because then she won't be a good doctor, and then never get married, and never have children, and then her life would end. It was true that Naina's mum could be a bit over dramatic at times. Naina knew that she had nothing to study for. The test that she had told Aditi was fake, she just didn't want to face her mum when she came back. And now, after meeting Avi and Akash, she wanted to go even more, but the thought of facing her mum when she came back was enough to scare her. She hated lying to Aditi, but she had no choice. Her mother could turn into a demon by the littlest of things,so going on holiday would kill Naina. However now, staying here, she had to listen to her mum shout at her for any reason. "I have nothing to study for mummy," Naina muttered, but her mother still managed to hear her, as she had ears of a bat. "What?" her mother answered, her tone warning. "Nothing," she replied sweetly, rolling her eyes behind her back, "You know what Niana? I've had such a bad day, and now you've come home from god knows where and ruined it for me. You and I both know you have a test that now you're going to fail because you went out shopping. What are you going to do if you fail this test? Huh? You will ruin your chance of going to a good medical school right? Yes, you will, and then your whole life will be ruined. Well done my child, well done." she screamed at Naina, causing her to stumble back. This was Naina's mother's talent, making a mountain out of a molehill.

"Mum, chill, I'm sure, Naina will ace this test, she is very smart, and a few hours won't ruin her life. You're doing the thing again." my brother said, playing on his phone. He seemed to not care at all about whatever my mother did, it was as if he was immune to it. Nor did he care about what his mother said, nor did his mother care about what he said. "What thing?" their mother asked bewildered. "Nothing, don't worry." he replied not looking up from his phone. From the corner of her eyes, she could she that their mother was fuming. Most mothers would be happy that their one and only son had returned after 5 long years. But not Naina's mum. She just cared about shouting, and Naina, nor Adi could care less about what she said. Soon enough her mum started blabbering and she zoned out, thinking of the fun time she had today with Aditi, Avi and most importantly Akash. The mere thought brought smile on her face, one that she couldn't hide. One that reached her eyes, and caused her dimple to appear. She didn't care if her mother or even if Adi saw her. In that moment she felt like she was on cloud nine.

I know, this chapter is a bit everywhere. I was having such bad writer's block and just couldn't think of any ideas for this chapter, and when I did, I wasn't happy with the way it was written. In these three weeks, I have written and rewritten this chapter so many times, and I'm so sorry to keep you guys waiting. But I shall now update whenever I have time to. Anyway, now that's out of the way, I have to thank you guys for the 200+ views. I couldn't be happier that I'm getting such positive feedback. But guys, remember to vote. That tells me if you like the story or not. If you do. I will be so thankful that you did, and for all the people that did, thank you so so much.  On the side is a picture of Avi and what he looks like. Anyway, I'm so sorry for the long delay again, but thanks for reading and staying with me.
