"Wow...." I gasped.
Hoseok stood back and watched my reaction as the gorgeous sunset illuminated the calm lake.
"I come here all the time when I'm feeling sad" he began, "so I thought I'd take you here." He smiled.
He took off his backpack and pulled out two blankets, laying one out onto the grass, and wrapping us both up in another.
"So why do you cut sunshine?" He asked.
For some reason, I trusted him.
So it old him my life story.
Alcoholic and verbally abusive mother...
Drug addicted father....
Brothers that hate me...
I told him it hurt to hear my own mother call me such names, and how often I skipped meals and such to afford there expenses.
How I had to drop out of the dance school of my dreams and get a full time job.
How I felt empty and useless giving up such an opportunity.
And he listened to everything.
He actually listened.
And he actually understood.
