This song has had me in my feels SO bad lately. Between the low-fi beat, the deep but relaxed sounding lyrics, and Orion's voice- Ooh- OoH, it just fucking hits. The song just has so much progression and so much going on in such a good way and I love it so much.

The stutter of uncertainty in the middle of this verse just makes the meaning behind it so much more real into how jolting our emotions can be in the moment.

This verse perfectly describes the thought of being with someone you view at a higher standard then what you're at. Someone being so far away they're untouchable while your stuck rooted to the same ground that you'll always will be tethered too. The feeling of disconnection from a person, possibly one that you've even known to such depths before is such an awful feeling. Its the feeling of seeing someone continue on with their life long past you, continuing to thrive and live on, while you can do nothing but watch.
