Shanaya's POV:
" Shehry!" Hussain yelled as he neared the crowd, I was far behind him cause of my stupid high heels. I halt for a second and my eyes landed on Shehryar's car. I furrowned. The bonut of the car has a bump but it doesn't look like it crashed into something. What? Headlights are absolutely fine and as well as the whole car, just the deep bump on the bonut. My eyes roamed around his car and then stelled on the ground. I furrowned, again.
Pieces of wooden vase I thought as my furrown deepened. What is wooden vase pieces are doing near Shehryar's car? What does this mean?
"Shehryar!" Hussain voice brought me out of my thoughts and I turned around looking at the crowd, which was starting to lessen. I saw as Hussain hugged Shehryar and they stood there. I was a far, watching them. A small smile palyed on my lips as Hussain checked Shehryar's body, searching for any injuries. Slowly I started walking towards them.
"Yar hadh hai! Kehaan dekh kar car chala raha tha?" Hussain asked and I can see the concern for his brother clearly.
"Yar pata nahi-- I don't know, just crashed into something." Shehryar winced in pain and that's when I saw he was bleeding on the left side on his forehead. Hussain quickly took out his handkerchief, pressing it on Shehryar's head. Shehryar smiled and hold the handkerchief in his own and then Hussain glanced my way. Tears well up in my eyes, as I saw Hussain was crying silently. He loves his brother so much. Our eyes locking and I realized, this is first time after our marriage that Hussain and Shehryar are talking. I stared back in silence when suddenly unknown guilt started to eat me up. Why did I have to came in between them?
"Sain, Just get me to home." Shehryar whispered and Hussain's eyes returned to his brother.
"Yeah, sure. Let's go." Hussain said and we walked towards Our car. We were drenched from head to toe by now. I was freezing, but dint complain. Hussain's attention was totally on Shehryar and somewhere in me, I felt proud. My husband is an awesome man. I was feeling happy that both brothers are again talking, yet something felt.... strangely suspicious. We sat in the car. Hussain and Shehryar in front while I sat behind Hussain's seat.
"Just push the seat back and lay down." Hussain said Shehryar and he smiled, nodding. Once fully turned down, Shehryar lay down on his seat and our eyes met. He looked away and so did I.
"Yar Atif, sorry....Yar thanks for understanding...yeah bye." Hussain hung up the call with his friend Atif, as we were driving out of the main gates, Shehryar's car came into the view and I furrowed again. The wooden vase was big. And I don't know why but it feels like the wooden vase is the source of Shehryar's car damage. But- Shehryar did said he crashed into something.
"Shanaya.." I heard Shehryar whisper and I furrowed, turning my head I raised my eyebrows. Shehryar's eyes were closed. He was calling my name in sleep? Hussain cleared his throat and I looked up, my eyes on the back of Hussain's head.
Talk about awkward.
---***---
"Yar you need to see doctor." Hussain said as he and Shehryar entered Shehryar's room. I stayed a little far. Shehryar sat on the bed.
"Nahi Sain, I am fine. It's just a little injury, mein sambhal sakhta hoon." Shehryar replied and Hussain nodded. Shehryar went into his washroom and Hussain ran a hand through his wet hair. He walked back and I stare at him, standing nead the door. He came out and closed the door behind him. Our eyes met and he smiled, though worry of his brother was still evident on his face. I returned the smile as we walk back to Our room. Hussain dint say anything, neither did I.
