Shanaya's POV:

"I was like - Allah meri toba, Sana! Mein inni vi darpok nahi!" Minahil laughed and I joined her as well. We are sitting in the kitchen- cutting some fruits, to make fruit salad. Minahil had forced to help so I dint stop her, to say the least Minahil is a lively girl. I have been laughing since last ten minutes. She is being telling me about her and her best friend Sana's incidents.

"Ek baat bataon tumhe." She whispered and I nodded. She suck in a deel breath.

"Itna awkward breakfast meine aaj tak nhi kiya. Shehryar was so... pissed off. Itna gussa... aiwai." She laughed and I chuckled. Breakfast was indeed awkward. We just sat and ate without saying anything and Shehryar- he often throw some glares at Minahil now n then.

"Waise, meri bohat baatein hogi. Tum batao Shanaya- kuch apne baare mein. I mean something special." She asked as I chop the apple into small pieces. I smiled at her.

"My best friend is... Safa. I miss her. Mere aur us ki incidents tumhare aur sana jaise hi hain." I replied and she nodded, smiling. I looked down. Safa. I miss her so much. She left for Saudi Arabia when I was on my honeymoon. I wasn't able to talk to her. But I still remember her smiling face when she hugged me. I smiled to myself and Minahil snapped her fingers in front of my face.

"Kya hua?" She chuckled and I shook my head. She gasped and then smiled brightly at me.

"Hussain ki yaadein aying?" She asked making a cute face and I laughed.

"Nahi." I said but was cut off by another voice.

"Nahi?" Hussain's voice send shivers down my spine and I turned to look at him. He was leaning on the door frame as he stare back at me. He stood straighter, stuffing his hand in his jeans as he came upto us.

"I am hurt." Hussain said while keeping his hand on his heart. I smiled and shook my head.

"Awww. Shanaya come'on how could you not miss him?" Minahil asked and Hussain nodded, sniffing fakingly. I raised my eyes and look at Hussain.

"Well to miss him, I have to forget him. Hum unhe yaad karte hain- jinhe hum bhool jaate hai." I replied and he raised his eyebrows. A warm smile made it's way to his lips as Minahil awwed.

"Aww yaar, cute! Yaani he is always on your mind." She stated and I looked at her. Hussain bend down behind me, my breath hitching in my throat as he kissed my cheek.

"She is on my mind too. Twenty four, seven." Hussain whispered and Minahil smiled at us, while I surely have turned red.

"Yar you two are too cute to be true." She smiled and stood up. Hussain stopped her.

"Ap kehaan chali bhabhi jaan?" Hussain teased and her eyes widened. I laughed slightly at her shocked expressions. She blinked a few times and Hussain furrowned, still smiling.

"Actually... it feels more real when you says like that." She chuckled and so did me and Hussain. She took her knife and handed Hussain. Hussain furrowned.

"Yeh lo. Biwi ki help karo thori, mein tum dono k beech mein se nikal rahi hoon ab." She said, her tone firm and Hussain laughed in response. She smiled at me once and then left. My eyes met Hussain's and I looked down. He plopped down on stool.

"Kya karna baki hai?" Hussain asked as he saw me chopping the last piece of orange. I shook my head, smiling when he furrowned.

"Hogaya hai. I just have to mix this up." I said getting up and walking towards to sink. I washed my hands and took out a bowl, feeling Hussain's eyes on me. I smiled and walked back towards the table, placing the bowl on the table I picked up the fruits. I glanced towards Hussain. He was resting his face on his palm and staring at me, I laughed.
