*Paralysed and Victimised*
(Amelia's P.O.V)
I jolted awake, spluttering and gasping, sucking in a sharp breath. My head pounded and throbbed, and my neck felt stiff. In fact, my whole body felt stiff. Everything was numb; I couldn't move.
Panic gripped my gut as I tried to force my fingers to move, even twitch, but I was completely paralysed. I wanted to thrash and kick and cry out, but all I could do was move my eyes. And all I could see was a black ceiling of wooden supports.
I could hear a vague shuffling, but I couldn't tilt my head to see what was causing it. Until I heard a voice.
"Ah, you're awake," it rasped, and my heart froze. Thomas Riley. Of course; the last thing I remember was being in the dress shop, and then being knocked out. Damn it; he must've paralysed me with the drug.
"We're going to have a lot of fun, you and I," he snarled, and I felt something run along my leg.
I wanted to thrash out and kick the creep off me, but all I could do was strain to see my captor as his fingers ran along my thigh.
I wanted to whimper, but I couldn't even do that.
Then his face came into view, hovering above mine. Greasy hair stuck to a gleaming forehead, thick eyebrows overhanging narrow eyes, thin lips drawn into a tight snarl.
"Your little doctor isn't going to save you now," he spat, baring his yellowing teeth.
A surge of nausea burned at the back of my throat. Damn it; if I threw up, I'd choke on my own vomit. Please, stay down. Please.
Suddenly a mobile phone rang, and Thomas drew away with a frustrated grunt. I heard more shuffling, then a growl. There was a beep and then a crash, and I deduced he'd thrown the phone across the room.
"I need to go," he said, returning to my side. "But I'll be back soon. Don't go anyway." He held a humorous streak in his tone and I recoiled in my thoughts. He found it funny; that I was paralysed; that he had complete control over me.
Sick creep.
I wanted to scream, but I couldn't. I couldn't do anything. I was trapped; paralysed and victimised. I could only rely on my team. That they'd find me in time. Else I was going to end up like the other victims of this sadistic man.
(Reid's P.O.V)
"What?!" I exploded, feeling a surge of anger flare through my body. "That creep has Amelia?"
"Woah, man. You gotta calm down," Morgan said, his thick brows creased as he held out a hand.
"No, I've got to find her!"
Hotch walked in scowling at me. "Morgan's right, Reid. You need to calm down; you're not going to be of any use to her if you're not thinking straight."
How could they be so calm!?
I huffed and my shoulders sagged. But I suppose what they were saying was logical. "Fine," I huffed quietly.
"We want to find her just as much as you do, man," Morgan said, slipping off the desk and walking over to the map, pinned up on the wall. "We need to figure out where he keeps the women. Let's sort out the geographical profiling, okay?"
I took a deep breath and nodded.
"I'm going to head down to Emily with Rossi. Keep me updated," Hotch said.
Morgan nodded and turned to me. "You alright, man?"
I nodded, feeling slightly pathetic. "Yeah," I murmured, looking down at my hands.
"We're going to find her, okay?" He reassured, clapping me on the back.
"Mhmm."
He smiled. "Right, let's see what we have here."
*Sorry it's short. I just wanted to update because its Halloween!!! :) Have a cool night, guys!*
