Sehgal Mansion

Bela’s POV

Stupid, idiot, daft, foolish, ass…..

Whoever said that marriage was the most beautiful relationship in the world was the biggest idiot of the world OR maybe they just weren’t married to someone like the great Mr Mahir Sehgal!

Don’t get me wrong, I love him with all my heart and beyond and I know that he loves me more than that, but there is also no doubt that he is the biggest ass in this world. We have been happily married for more than 2 years now but ever since he got a new project with a Singapore-based firm, all he seems to be doing is work, work, work and more work - AHHHHH, someone kill me, or better yet, kill him right now!

But he wasn’t an inconsiderate man, I’ll give him that. Ever since we got married, I have always been his first priority! That was until recently when all his focus shifted to his new project or as he calls it - his dream project!

I love how hardworking he is, always working towards making his, sorry our, company the best. But I miss him!!! I miss him coming home early to surprise me, taking me out on long drives, him coming into my cabin during the day with a pretext of some ‘urgent work’ and not leaving till we reach the state of utopia, me waking up to find him between my legs - all ready to wake me up - mmhhhh, so yeah I’m horny too, shoot me for being hungry for my sexy husband!

Coming back to the sexy husband AKA ass, Mahir realised how we haven’t been able to spend much time together (didn’t I tell you how considerate he was!), so he planned to come home early and take me out for dinner, it’s been too long since we did that - awwwww!

But then, that idiot called me, 2 hours after the promised time of his arrival, that something urgent came up and he would be late (again) and apologised with a hundred texts and calls - which I have been ignoring.

So here I am, 5 hours later, burning a hole in the carpet and cursing my husband!

Mahir’s POV

As soon as I entered my bedroom, I noticed three things - my beautiful wife pacing around the room, scented candles that are just about to get extinguished and my said beautiful wife hurling not so kind words about me!

Well, I deserved all this and more! After almost 1 month of ignoring her, I planned to spend some time with her and promised to have dinner with her today but guess what - I had to cancel them. I knew I had the most understanding wife in the whole wide world because in this entire month, she didn’t complain once, she worked alongside me and made sure I don’t neglect my health and family while I’m at it - I really am a lucky guy or ass as she is calling me right now, I smirked thinking!

Author’s POV

Mahir silently entered the room and held Bela by her waist from the back.

Bela gasped as she didn’t hear him enter the room, she relaxed into him as soon as she recognized the solid body of her husband.

“I’m so sorry jaan,” Mahir whispered while dropping a little kiss on her ear.

And that’s all it took for Bela to come back to her senses and push Mahir away, with all the force! She came out of his hold and moved past him to blow away all the candles that were still lit.

Mahir knew he deserved the shove and also that it won’t be easy to calm down his tigress, but nonetheless, with a perfectly practised puppy-dog face, he tried and said, “Bela, please listen to me! You know I was supposed to have the meeting with the clients and it was important....,” but he cut off by a simple, heartbreaking whisper of his beloved.
