Cafe Rosia
Bela’s POV
Now, this is life!
After heading out of our room and leaving Mahir to curse himself for the thousandth time in the last 24 hours, we stopped at Cafe Rosia - my favourite breakfast place in the city! Before I could even have a look at the menu, he ordered up a plate of Fresh Fruit Pancakes, Chocolate Waffles with 2 tall glasses of Cold Coffee with extra chocolate. I couldn’t help but look at him in wonder, he remembers my entire order by heart - did I have the best husband in the whole wide world of what?!
I raised my eyebrow at him with a teasing smile which he returned with a confused look on his face and asked me, “Did I forgot something? Shit, did you want something else too?”
Aww, ain’t he the cutest?!!
“No, no! I’m just impressed you remembered my order.”
“Oh c’mon, jaan! It’s what you order every damn time we come here. And also I might be an ass but not a complete idiot to not know what you like and don’t like after knowing you for almost 6 years!”
I couldn’t help but smile, he does know me better than I know myself! I remember that a few months back I missed my period by a few days and that scared the shit out of me, had it not been for the amazing man sitting in front of me, I would have ended up in the ER because of a panic attack.
Don’t get me wrong, we do want kids, maybe someday along the road, but right now we are both too young to have that responsibility and the best part? Our parents understand that too! Therefore, we hardly have that ‘toh hume khushkhabri kab sunna rahe ho’ talks when we meet either of our parents - yeah, I’m a lucky li’l bitch!
“Hellllllloooo! Main tumse baat kar raha hun! Earth calling Bela, testing, testing!”
Mahir’s irritating rambling broke my round of thoughts and I gave him a ‘what the hell’ look!
“What? I was telling you about ManU’s horrible loss in the last match and you kept staring at me,” he cutely explained. How can I ever stay mad at this man?!
“Sorry, I kinda zoned out!”
“Wow! You really know how to boost a man’s ego!” he replied sarcastically.
“Aww, that ego can surely come down a notch or two, don’t you think so?” I asked cheekily only to earn a hard glare from him, so I continued, “anyway, where are you taking me after breakfast?”
“I was thinking maybe we can catch a movie? It’s been too long since we did 'that',” he said smiling a little too extra while stressing the “that”.
Oh I know, what exactly he meant, so I just shook my head and laughed along with him at his cheekiness. Just you wait and watch darlin’!
Author’s POV
After gorging on their breakfast, the happy couple left the cafe, hand in hand for their next destination - the movie theatre.
When Bela held Mahir’s hand in the morning, he gave a confused look as he was banned from touching her. Bela simply smiled and said, “I don’t remember the last time we were out and didn’t hold hands, I don’t want to start that now either.”
This melted his heart right away and he tightened his hold on her hand.
