Prompt #3 - Discovery of a Lifetime
1st Person
I stared at my hand, not believing what had just happened. Had _________ ( choose a power, ex: fire, lightning, etc.) just come out of it? Did I just.... No. It couldn't have.
I blinked twice and concentrated, trying to do what I had done before. I looked down at my hand, but nothing came out.
I knew it had been my imagination. I let out a frustrated sigh and lowered my hand. I just continued to (sit / stand) were I was, looking at my hand, scared that maybe it hadn't been my imagination. That it had actually happened, and if I turned my head it would happen again, I just wouldn't see it.
I was about to turn away and get back to __________ (what I had been doing before) When a little burst of _______ (light / dark, depending on power) flitted across the palm of my hand.
I broke into a smile. I ( finally )had powers! (, just like all of my friends! - you could choose to add, but it could be either way)
I know this is probably confusing with all of the places where I let you decide but, it's probably better for you 'cause you can choose. Idk, tell me what you think in the comments. Also, the end is probably confusing too, it's basically two scenarios. One were your friends all had powers and you didn't get them 'till now. And the second is were you get them and it's crazy because no one else has them, or only a few ppl, or whatever. You could even change it to be another way too. Thx for reading!!! Love ya!
