Prompt #9 - The Pirate (guy/gal)
I wrote two different ones. Both are the same except that in one Alex is a boy, the other, a girl.
1st Person
Boy Alex
Alex looked very different from when I'd last seen him. His hair was long, messy, and looked like it hadn't been washed for weeks; he had grown a beard, scraggly and covered in bread crumbs - probably for his last meal. The thing that showed me he really went over to the pirates though, his clothes.
The long red and black cloak looked very different from the leather jacket and black jeans he used to always wear. That's what worried me, he always wore a jacket. But now, now he didn't have his signature spiky hairstyle or his old clothes. He was a different man.Girl Alex
I stared at Alex as if I'd gone crazy, or maybe I had gone crazy. Alex would never wear what she was wearing now. The fitted brown and good swirls best was actually kinda cute, but the pants? They were a dark hunter green, Alex's least favorite color. They were baggy and huge on her and were held up my a thick red belt.
I gagged, I was so used to seeing Alex in short dresses or crop tops and shorts. I couldn't believe that she would be wearing these clothes, but that was what prooved that she had gone to the dark side. Joined the pirates. Just the fact that she was wearing those clothes that were so not her type made me realize how committed she was.
And I was standing right in front of her. The thought struck me and I started to run, but..............Hi everybody! So, you like? I'm sorry if it was confusing the way I did it. But if I did it with doing the gender thingys in the parentheses it wouldve gotten crazy. Well, anyway, hope you enjoyed. Love ya!
