I came back from the bar. "I miss Shadow" I spoke softly walking down the alleyway. I tried drinking to forget it. Ever sense he walked in when me and Scourge were banging. I made a mistake now he is gone. "Rouge..." I heard someone call my name. "Knuckles.." I said seeing him in the moon light. "Long time.. What are you doing here.." He asked. "I was just having some fun.. I thought..-" he interrupted. "I put the master emerald in a safe." He said. "Oh. So why are you here?" I asked looking at him. I was a little tipsy still but not drunk. "Don't worry about it need a place to stay.." He took my hand. "Yeah.." I said staring at how softly he held my hand. "Let me take you to my place..." He said taking me to his house.
