The next couple of days were just me trying to figure out what I was gonna do. I was at my house putting some baby clothes up and just unpacking and repacking this diaper bag. I wasn't even in the mood for the holidays. I wanted to go and get my tree and decorate but I just didn't feel like it. I had been getting calls from mya bug trey mama a I just didn't feel like talking so I didn't answer. I loved Alex though he had been to my house every night and he didn't come in or ask no questions just simply checked on me and went about his business.
I had a text from an unknown number.
Unknown number: Hey Vae it's dad I was wondering if you could get your sisters and meet me somewhere maybe for lunch.
I rolled my eyes at the text but I knew the girls wanted to see him and I couldn't be that selfish.
Me: Yeah Mr. Hills at 11.
Unknown number: Okay I'll be there.
I called the girls and told them to get ready. Lord I promised to try to give him the benefit of the doubt so I was going to try. Why all of a sudden though and how the hell did he get my number.
We walked into Mr hills and I seen him right away. I smiled to my self cause my dad looked good to be his age. "So heads up dads here".
"SUPERMAN" Jayla said running to him hugging him. I knew she missed him so much I did the same thing when I sall him. I looked over at mya my baby thug who had tears in her eyes.
"Go on" She shook her head no. "Do we still hate him?"
"Baby I love you for being my ride or die but you have to make your own impression of dad. Do not let my hurt keep you from him. I know you missed him and you have questions go" I said nudging her.
She hugged me then hugged him as we all sat down.
"I have missed y'all to much. Y'all grew up beautiful" he said smiling at us.
I rolled my eyes and just starred out the window while they talked.
We were getting ready to leave after being there for about 2 hours. He asked me to stay. Mya looked at me hesitant to leave me cause she know I can be a hot head and she know I wasn't feeling him.
I hugged her "go I'll call you later" I said then sat back down.
"I wanted to tell you how sorry I am. I missed out on some of the best years of y'all life because I was stubborn and young and dumb. Your about to be a mom and I'm proud of you. I love you Javae more than you know. He sighed. If I could go back I would do things differently I wouldn't be so nice to your mother. You would have better parents a better life. I owe you the world baby cause you stood up for them long before you had to and you jumped into position like the natural I knew you were".
