all the boys were waiting for yunho to unlock the door cause they were hella tired being cramped in the van. poor yeosang was squished between yunho and wooyoung along the whole car ride there. being cramped in the van for an hour wasn't the best either, on top of that they were holding their heavy bags as well

the door swung open
"i'm hom-"
yunho was quickly cut off as he could sense his little brother hug him from beneath
as soon as he felt his presence he dropped his bags on the ground that he had in his hands to hug him back
"i've missed you buddy," yunho said as he hugged him back even tighter
yunho hadn't felt this warm in someone's embrace in a long time
he soon was about to release him from the hug but saw his parents come running down the stairs and join the 2 of them
"we've missed you," his mom said hugging all of her boys tightly as her life depends on it
all of them got released from the hug as mrs. jeong went and hugged the boys since she hadn't seen them in nearly year
"all of you guys grew up so fast," she said looking at them all grown up, she had seen them grow ever since they were kids since all of their moms were childhood friends
"i've missed my boys," she said squishing yeosang and jongho's cheeks in a motherly way babying them
"we've missed you too mrs. jeong" hongjoong l smiled at the rest of the family
"come in you guys must be tired and freezing outside" mr. jeong insisting since it was the middle of december and the weather was freezing cold outside
the boys gathered inside the warn house along with the rest of the family and settled down, the house becoming instantly chatty
yunho took them upstairs to their rooms as the boys followed his footsteps from behind
"okay i think you guys already know your rooms from last year," yunho said pointing to the doors as they were all upstairs now waiting for his instructions
all the boys went into two separate rooms
hongjoong, san, wooyoung and jongho in one room while the others shared the room beside them
both of the rooms had 2 bunk beds which were enough for the eight of them to sleep since the rooms had a lot of space anyway
considering yunho's house was a literal mansion
they all had put their bags down and went straight to their beds
either taking their beauty naps or just going on the phone and playing games

"yunho" mrs. jeong yelled from downstairs
"yes mom" yunho replied from upstairs, head peeking out from the railings
"tell the boys to get ready, we're having people over since you guys recently had a comeback," mrs. jeong said smiling looking at her son from downstairs
"wait are the neighbours coming over too," yunho said with a little hope as his heartbeat started increasing
"yes they are" mrs. jeong chuckled knowing why he asked that question in the first place
"remember to remind the boys," she said walking away into the kitchen
"sure thing," yunho said as he walked towards the 2nd room and barged into hongjoong's shared room with the others, but was probably not a good idea considering that he was changing his boxers in the corner
"bro what the fuck," hongjoong said as he finished putting his boxers and shorts on in a hurry
yunho just gazed at him for a solid 10 seconds and then left to inform the people he's staying with
as he strolled back to his room his mind seemed to have shut down for a moment recalling what had just happened
why the hell was he changing in the corner and where were the rest he thought to himself with a weird expression on his face
"wiredo" he chuckled to himself as he opened the door to his room
everyone was dead silent trying to get some sleep from the long drive here until yunho broke the silence
"guys," he said standing in the doorway trying to get their attention
no answer
"i'm dying ahh" still no answer
yunho rolled his eyes
this will for sure work for yeosang yunho though to himself rubbing his hands together in an evil way with a smirk played on his face
he staring at the brand new drone yeosang had purchased, it was still to be opened since the dorms didn't have a lot of space he decided he would try it out somewhere with more space aka yunho's huge house
"oh well, i guess i'll just fly this new dron-" the sentence wasn't even finished when a certain somebody's eyes went wide
"not the dron-" yeosang panicked while getting up way to fast and banged his head hard on the top of the bed (since he was on the bottom bunk) which also caused to seonghwa wake up since he felt his butt jump off the mattress slightly
seongwha wasn't even up for half a second before he went back to scolding the members
"it hasn't even been a couple of hours and your already starting with you-" soon enough seonghwa cut off by another loud voice
"WAKE UP" yunho yelled at mingi since he was the only one sleeping by now
"i'm," said mingi yawning like a lion
"up" he smiled as sat up straight on the bed but had to crouch a little or else he'll hit the ceiling
"okay finally, my mom said to tell you guys were having people over since she wanted to celebrate our comeback" yunho explained looking at them

"be ready by 6?" yunho said leaving the room smiling just thinking about another someone he hadn't seen in the longest time
he left the room to go to the others and inform them about the gathering as well but he couldn't forget to talk to hongjoong
"oh look who's wearing pants know" yunho smiled while looking at hongjoong
wooyoung looked between the both as yunho had a smirk set upon his face and hongjoong just remained frozen
"huh," san said looking between them both
"n-nothing" hongjoong said waving his hand off
