CHAPTER 25

Camryn's POV

I glared nervously as the man emerged from the trees. My heart rate quickens more as he runs towards us. I look up to Uncle Ace with a distasteful look on his face as he let go of my foot and ready his stance as the man is already in full force towards him.

"MINE!!!" Growled Malka charging towards Uncle Ace. The bond between us grew more wildly as the torrent tides of his fury upsurged through the bond. They clashed with each other swiping their sharp claws against each other.

"You will pay for taking away my mate!"

"You are the one who's gonna pay! You killed my daughter!" Snapping his teeth at Malka.

Malka scoffed at him "That brave shewolf was your daughter?" He had a devilish smile "I had enjoyed hearing his screams while I lavishly send her into paradise!"

I felt Uncle Ace's outrage against Malka, he strike at him punching him hard on his cheek while Malka had a satisfied smile plastered on his face.

"How dare you! I will avenge my daughter!" He stepped back away from Malka and I was confused by his sudden actions but my eyes widen when he walk towards me and I didn't have time to get away from him for I still can't move my body. He roughly grabbed my arms, his claws digging into my skin. He held me in front of him facing Malka while his extended sharp claws pointed to my throat. My teeth grind together as I gulped hard.

"I will take revenge for the death of my daughter by killing your beloved mate!" He was the one now with a satisfied smile written on his face for it was Malka's turn to be rattled in rage.

"Nooo!!!" Malka scream in terror as the pointed claws slowly pierced my throat.

Loud growls suddenly echoed behind Malka as shifted wolves came out behind him bearing their teeth to Uncle Ace.

The rogues

I felt the bond tighten as I felt my connections to the rogues.

I hate this feeling! Why do I have to feel them?!

It's because of this fucking mark! I clenched my teeth more as I felt the bonds pull towards the rogues.

"Coward" whispered Uncle Ace.

"What did you say?" Said Malka.

"I said you are a Coward! You had called all your pathetic rogues to just fucking kill me? Can't you fight me alone?" He raised an eyebrow at Malka with a crooked smile "Anyways, I wouldn't be surprised for you are only a rogue. A worthless lowly rogue! You can't kill an Alpha! You had no guts, no power, and no strength to fight me!" His wolf surged forward sending a ballistic growl against the rogues.

Malka's wolf also surged forward, his eyes burning with anguish as he let out a warning growl. He lowered his stance as his canines showed off. The shifted rogues behind him began to prowl, bearing their teeth upon the man who give such a threat to their Alpha and Luna. Ready to charge, just waiting for their Alpha's command to attack. As Malka let out a roar, they all dashed toward us, aiming for Uncle Ace.

"Go ahead and attacked me! You cowards!" But I felt his fingers twitch and trembled a bit as we took a step backward. "But before you can get your filthy hands on me, I will kill your mate first!" He let out a dark chuckle and was ready to stab his sharp claw towards my throat when all of a sudden a thunderous roar arise from all the sound of growls and roars of the rogues.

They all had stopped, frozen in their places as we kept hearing the massive roar that was slowly upcoming towards the forest. All held their breaths, no one is moving. I felt the time had stood still and that's when we all felt the ground beneath tremble, the leaves on the trees starts to quiver as the roar grew more and more intense. They all look at each other with confusion and fear written on their faces. I felt the roar's impending sound, how great power it held that made us all stay still.
