Yeri walked into the living room and Taehyung closed the front door behind her. "What are you doing here?" he asks. She spins on her heels.
"What do you mean what am I doing here?" she asks and walks in front of Taehyung. She grabs his arm.
"Can I not come visit my boyfriend?"
My legs started shaking and I could barely feel my fingers. What was she talking about? Taehyung never mentioned her.
Was he cheating on me? Was he lying when he said that we were a couple? Taehyung removed his arm from Yeri's grip.
"Yeri, you know that we broke up almost 2 years ago." He walked to me and held me in his arms. It felt like my body was malfunctioning.
I didn't move and I was barely breathing. Tears were in my eyes but I blinked back the tears as best as I could. Yeri walks over to where she can see me.
She made a shocked face like this was the first time she had seen me since she walked in. "And, who is she?" she asked a little bit of worry in her voice. "Yeri, this is my girlfriend, Lana."
I looked up at Taehyung. He looked so serious. I swallowed hard and awkwardly waved at Yeri. "H-Hello."
She looked me up and down and didn't say a word to me. She turned her attention back to Taehyung. "You're serious?" She asks thinking Taehyung was joking, like this was all some prank or something.
But Taehyung didn't say a word. He wrapped his arm around my waist and sighed. "Why are you here, Yeri?" He asks not making eye contact with her.
She didn't answer. She just sighed and sat on the couch. Just then, Jungkook comes in. He looks at the three of us and spots Yeri. He waves at her.
"Hey, Yeri. Good to see you again." She turns to him. "Hey, Kookie." He sits on the opposite side of the couch. "What's going on?" He asks scratching his head.
"Nothing." Taehyung says. He squeezes my hand and turns to face me. "I'm gonna talk to Yeri. I'll only be a minute."
I nod understanding and go upstairs. I didn't want to be caught in the middle of whatever the heck they have going on cause I'm sure it doesn't involve me. I get dressed and head out. Jungkook follows me to the door. "Where are you going?" He asks.
I turn to him. "They obviously have something going on and I don't want to be around for that conversation that doesn't involve me. So, I'll be at the mall." Jungkook gets up. "I'll come with you." I smile and hold the door for him.
I start turning the corner but Jungkook yells for me. "Where are you going?" He asks. I point down the hill. "The mall?" I say as a question. Jungkook motions to the car. "We have these beautiful inventions called cars." Jungkook said sarcastically.
I roll my eyes and hop in the passenger seat. We got to the mall and Jungkook parks pretty far. He told me he was hungry so we walked to the food court first.
This man really got two hot dogs and three slices of pizza. And I thought I ate too much. Jungkook just finished his second slice of pizza when he eyes me. "I'm sorry, do you want some?" He asks with his mouth full.
I shake my head. "No, I'm okay right now." He shrugs and continues eating his hotdogs. I stand up from the table.
"I'm gonna shop around if you don't mind." Jungkook shakes his head. "Go on ahead, I'll meet you in a little." I nod and walk out of the food court.
I have a bad feeling about Taehyung being alone with his ex. What if she tries to pull something? My mind kept wandering and I wasn't paying attention to where I was walking because I bumped into someone. I quickly apologized but I looked up and saw it was Nia.
