Chapter Eleven

"I'm pregnant." I say, a smile stretching across my face. 

        "Pregnant?" He asks, I smile and nod and he smiles back. "You're pregnant!" He exclaims, picking me up and spinning me. 

        "Put me down you're making me dizzy!" I laugh, he sets me down gently.

        "When are we gonna tell everyone?" He asks, still giddy about the news. 

        "Not for a while, usually at three months." His eyes went wide. 

        "I'm not going to be able to keep it a secret." He says quietly, I laugh. 

        "How about two months?" I ask, he shakes his head. "Really? We can't tell them now. Dr.Banner knows if that helps you in any way, but we have to wait. They'll probably figure it out on their own." Suddenly, the door opens and everyone topples over each other and spill out onto the floor. 

        "You're pregnant?" Steve asks and I sigh. 

        "Lady Trinidad is birthing a child!" Thor booms, running over and hugging Bucky.

        "Can't... breathe..." Bucky gasps, Thor drops him and he rubs his neck. 

        "I knew they would figure it out on their own." I shrug. 

        "Congratulations!" Nat squeals, running over and hugging me gently. Dr.Banner walks in and clears his throat, asking everyone to step out of the room.

        "Trinidad, Bucky, I need to speak to you. Due to your injuries we had to modify some things about you..." He explains. 

        "What?" Bucky growls. 

        "You lost so much blood and were so weak it was the only thing we thought we could do, we had to inject you with a serum to keep you alive, it has some... side effects. You're going to have some powers, we aren't exactly sure what kind of powers or if they'll only affect you or your baby or both." He explains, nervously eyeing Bucky. 

        "O-oh... Well,  that's ok... I can live with that." I murmured, not sure how to process this information. 

        "Is she going to be ok?" Bucky snarled, still glaring at Banner. 

        "She'll be fine, we have the best people here that are able to take care of her, just keep an eye out for anything unusual." He finished, turning on his heel and walking out. 

        "It'll be fine Bucky." I cooed, rubbing his arm. 

        "I just don't know what I'd do without you." He croaked, putting his head in his hands. 

        "Everything is going to work out fine." I tried to comfort him, sitting up and lifting his head to look into his watery eyes. "There's nothing to worry about. Four weeks later I had been frequently seeing what Dr.Banner meant by "powers". He said that these powers would be more active while I was pregnant or it was that time of the month because of my hormones, so I wouldn't have to worry about my powers being so crazy all of the time. 

        "Dammit!" I gasped, accidentally crushing the paper cup I held in my hand and spilling it's contents all over myself. I wasn't allowed to use any glass or anything breakable after what happened to the mug Pepper got me. "Bucky..." I sighed.

        "On it!" He hollered from the other room, walking in with a new cup. "Try not to break this one." He teased. A few hours later we sat out in the living room and talked about current events. 

        "Hey Trin, toss me the remote?" Tony asked, I picked up the remote and accidentally threw it at Tony. He screamed and ducked, the remote went smashing through the window and plummeted to the ground. 

        "I'm sorry." I piped, sucking in a breathe of air and not breathing out until I heard the remote smash into a car and the alarm going off. 

        "It's fine, wasn't my car." Tony shrugged.

        "We need to fix this." I whined, pinching the bridge of my nose. For the next two weeks we worked on controlling my powers, whether it was super strength, super intelligence, super speed, or telekinesis. I was getting pretty good at it, even using it to solve problems and take down Bucky when we sparred. I was having an easier time controlling outbursts of powers and wasn't breaking things as much.
