It was the morning after I had ice cream with the boys, which of course dreadfullt ment school. Can I just take a minute here to explain my escrutiating pain of how I feel about this? Lets just say that I'm not good with the stressful situations with school; the homework, the tests, and well the bitches. But I'm guessing no matter how much I cry to my parents I'll be forced to attend it, so I guess it was time to start getting ready.
God damn. I sat up from my bed to hear a doorbell ring. It was about 6 in the morning, why would anyone be knocking on my door? Do people in Ireland not understand sleep?
I scrumbled down the stair case and ran towards the door. I took a moment to pull my sweapants up and adjust my shirt, then twisted the knob until it clicked. I softly pulled the door open to be suprisingly greeted by James and Aaden.
"Hello love!" Aaden screeched as he pushed me aside to head into my kitchen. I rolled my eyes and looked back at the door to see a smiling James who was politely waiting for his invitation in my house.
"Oh James. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING POLITE AND WAITING" I screamed do Aaden would hear me. "You can come in" I said smiling back to the adorable irish boy. He walked in awkardly following me towards my kitchen.
as I approaced the kitchen Aaden jumped in front of me startling me, "AADEN STOP DOING THAT! G-D" I could hear James chuckling behind me. Awh
"Sorry sis, uh do you have food?" I rolled my eyes at him for the second time and pointed to the fridge.
"Eat what you want, I need to watch the presidential debate." The boys raised their eyebrows at me in confusion. "Its an American thing" I said winking back. I walked over the the living room while sliding across the dark wooden floors. Picking up the remote, I turned to my recordings and pressed play. Suddenly, both Obama and Romeny we're on my screen speaking about education cuts and the job problems. I set the remote down and walked over to the fridge where I was met by Aaden who contently observing what was inside. I reached for the leftover pizza my parents brought home last night and set the box on the counter behind me. James eyes widen and I chuckled, "want some?" He nodded happily. "Hot or cold?"
James began to open his mouth to reply but was immdiately cut off by my cousin, "COLD PLEASE. Thanks for asking Molly! Oh by the way you're too young to be flirting, both of you" He reached for a slice of pizza and I slapped his hand and he winced back in pain.
"NONE FOR YOU GLENN COCO!" I grabbed the pizza and ran towards the couches, while dragging James by his sleeve. He was wearing a dark blue polo, grey khakis, and some tenni runners. I smiled at his cute style, his hair was up in a simple quiff.
"So care to explain why you're here at 6 in the morning?" I narrowed my eyes at my cousin.
"We didn't want you to wake up late for the first day of school!"
"Uh huh... That's it, right?" I asked sarcastically.
"Plus you have yummy food" James blushed.
"Yeah yeah " I said sarcastically as I scooted my way up the stair case, leaving the two boys in my living room watching some Irish broadcasting network. I made my way to my room and slid open the the drawers of my dresser. The weather channel mentioned there would be slight rain, but overall 50 degrees with heavy clouds. I pulled out my favorite pair of light washed skinny jeans from American eagle with little holes and slight distress marks, and headed over to my closet to pick out a top. I quickly decided on a mint, loose sweater and topped it off with a knit white infinity scarf. The colors complimented my tan- Californian skin and my streaking blue eyes. I pulled out a pair of simple white socks and picked up my white converse from the floor next to my bedside. I quickly took off my pyjamas and pulled the clothes onto me. Checking in the mirror, I adjusted my sweater and brushed my hair. My long blonde locks evened out and my beach like waves were evident.
Ten minutes later my makeup was done, only using foundation, a bit of eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara.
I grabbed my back pack and headed back to the boys.
As I walked in I heard Aaden mumbling on about random nonsense, "No, dude you can't seriously think The Script is better than Lifehouse!"
James rolled his eyes, "I do think they are better because THEY ARE! Are you tone deaf? I mean-" his eyes met mine and his stiff positioned body softened, "oh hey Clair" my cousin turned around and smirked.
"I've got one hot cousin, better watch out James she's going to be getting a lot of attention!" I blushed crimson red and slapped him across the face lightly.
"Ew incest!" I screamed.
"Oh dude no." James chuckled.
"Ok guys lets getting going" Aaden said completely ignoring James response. We headed out the door and began to walk towards what I assume was the school.
"So Clair bear, you excited for your first day?"
I groaned loudly, "why can't I just stay in bed. People suck, I hate people!"
"It won't be that bad!" James chuckled.
"Actually, it will be terrible. Everyone will watch me because I'm the new girl, and because I have an accent! They're going to want to know about me, and I'm so boring that they'll leave me and I'll be this giant potatoe everyone hates" I rambled on.
"Actually Ireland is known for their potatoes! So they'll love you." James smiled.
"Yeah and remember that's what killed millions of you guys? Potatoe famine." I sigh.
"Well you're lucky James and I are pretty liked by everyone so they'll have to like you." I said cheery.
"Hopefully or I'll chop off your valuables down stairs!" I narrowed my eyes at him.
He stuck his tongue out in return.
Several minutes later we arrived in front of the school and entered it quickly.
Now to begin hell.
