Pepper's POV
We had fallen asleep, Tony had wrapped his arms around. It was so comfortable just laying there in the arms of Tony. I fell asleep again.
The alarms went off at nine in the morning
"No can't we just lay in bed all day please you can take in a sick day" Tony begged while kissing my shoulder
"Tony you know we can't do that, but I could stay in bed about 30 more minutes." We were just laying in bed cuddling and after ca 45 minutes I was standing in the doorway I was about to go.
Tony's POV
"Can I come over tonight?"
"Or I could buy you lunch say Nobu malibu?"
"Can't we eat what's the place...uh carbon Beach Club Restaurant it has this lovely view over the ocean."
"Yeah it sounds great I'll pick you up at the compound at two."
"Okay see you then," she said and I leaned over and kissed her on the chin.
"See you later Ms. Potts."
When Pepper left I went down to my workshop, called and made a reservation at carbon Beach Club Restaurant. I went on to do some tech stuff for s.h.i.e.l.d that I had promised Nick that I would do. Around twelve I went into the shower after showering I put on some clothes I didn't want to put on something to fancy but I didn't want to have one of my silly shirts either so I did my hair and ended up wearing black jeans, a black long sleeve with buttons on it.
I make my way down to the garage and I take my beautiful mate black Audi R8 and a couple of minutes later I'm standing outside of the compound ready to pick up my lunch date, I walk through the door.
"Good afternoon Mr.Stark, have a great day." One of my colleges says as I walk to the elevator.
"Likewise" I answered. I make my way out of the elevator and walk over to Pepper's office.
"Hey Pep, ready for lunch?"
"Absolutely"
When we got there, we ordered and talked.
"Tony, what are you thinking about?"
"Uh sorry I was gonna ask you, I know you quit but things have settled down now and it'll be different from last time cause now I'll be able to help because I'm no longer dying and a complete mess okay I'm always a mess but it's not the same and..."
"Tony, what is it?"
"Here's the deal. I was wondering if maybe you don't have to of course but would you wanna be CEO over stark Industries..."
"What?"
"Yeah, we both would be the CEO we would have equally much power."
"Tony, are you dying?"
"No, I'm serious."
"Okay if that's the case I would love to."
We ate our lunch and then we drove back to the compound I stayed and worked a little and Pepper helped me with a few things and we started talking about the future of the company what we would do next and we came up or Pepper came up with this idea to build this building who would be a clean energy-powered skyscraper, we sat there for hours just talking about this new project we were so excited.
After we went to my place, well we first stopped at Pepper's apartment to get some of her stuff and when we came home we showered and then just put some comfortable clothes on and went to the living room. We laid down on the sofa, she read a book while lying in my arms and I just watched her read and once in a while she would turn her head to either kiss me or just complain about the book and every time she looked at me I just started to smile. Eventually, she fell asleep. I woke her up and we went to bed to sleep.
