"josh," the mentioned looks up at the acknowledgement of his name to be met with dallon who smiles at his coworker and leans against the yellow haired mans desk, "me and brendon wanted to know if you wanted to come over tomorrow? ryan will probably be there too if his boss gives him the weekend off."

josh shifts his glasses further up the bridge of his nose and shrugs with a sheepish smile, "maybe."

dallon playfully groans and takes the mans glasses, putting them on himself instead, "come on dude, little bren has been begging to see you the past couple of weeks." that makes josh smile, a small chuckle escaping his lips as he shuts down his computer and packs up his stuff.

"okay then, just your place or do you want to go out somewhere?" he asks, snatching his glasses back so he could see clearly. sitting in front of a computer several hours a day really took a toll when it came to his already bad eyesight. dallon makes a noise of victory when he hears josh's answer and follows him out of the door.

"my place, the boys have been working their butts off recently and just need a break, probably age them down a little more than normal. what are your plans for next week?" both of them had a couple weeks off starting the upcoming week. josh was planning on catching up on all his work though, his position didn't technically give him a break, he was always working even at home.

"works for me. I'm visiting the family, haven't seen them in a while but I'll probably end up being stuck in work still." josh explains. they walk out of the building to be met with the cold air of the night. josh looks up and is surprised to see the stars twinkle, it was becoming a rare sight.

"you're not wrong, the emails just keep piling up. I'll see you tomorrow, yeah?" the taller speaks and josh nods as they walk to the cars, they were parked next to each other. he waves at brendon who was sat in the passenger seat of dallons car, reading through texts he had missed throughout the day. the brunette looks up and smiles at the man before setting his focus on dallon.

josh smiles at the relationship and starts his own car, starting the drive home. it didn't take as long as usual considering he worked an all day shift that day and it was now night. he usually worked until afternoon so whenever he drove home it was annoyingly busy on the roads.

when he arrives, he breathes a sigh of relief and is already untying the tie around his neck as he impatiently unlocks the door. the pitter patter of paws against hard wood floors becomes louder as he takes off his shoes and turns the light on. he smiles when jim, his golden retriever bounds up to him with a pant.

"hi buddy. lets get you some more food huh?" he chuckles fondly, laughing when the dog trots into the kitchen and sits patiently at his bowl, staring at his owner with pleading eyes. josh only rolls his eyes playfully before filling the bowl up.

he leaves the dog to eat and makes his way upstairs, a yawn escaping his lips as he decides that he can skip dinner that night, all he wanted was the warmth of his bed. as soon as he enters the room, he frees himself from his work clothes and stumbles onto the bed, pulling the sheets back to reveal a fluffy brown bear. archer or archie as tyler preferred.

he didn't like thinking back to his previous boyfriend, best friend, little boy. it hurt too much. that day, the day that he left, josh went straight home to find the little bear sandwiched between his pillows. he was tyler's favourite and he had somehow forgotten him, the poor baby couldn't sleep without his archie. josh stayed up for so many nights, hoping his precious boy was sleeping okay.
