Little Things (1D Fan Short Story)

1. Mandos!

(You are having a small class party at Mac and most of the girls are there) 

Wow. Finally we got the permission to go out for lunch. Our school has strict policies about having lunch outside because it’s an all-girls school. But as we are in our last year we got the chance. We all are excited and start ordering various things and me of course bought an extra-large burger with a latte. My best friend Amy is sitting near me texting to her bf. Though our school is strict, that doesn’t mean we cant have bf’s right? Even I have one. It’s been two years now. And do you know this guy name “Niall Horan”? Of course you have because he’s one of one direction. But only Amy knows that my bf is Niall. I don’t want to make any scene at school.

“Val… I’m going to buy an ice cream? You need one?” that was Amy.

“Okey.. choco plz..” I love chocolate.

All the girls are chatting and I was making some jokes. I’m a good joker. So, here Amy came back with Ice creams and I looked back at her with the intension of taking both the ice creams as a joke. She hates my jokes but still my besti.

“Look OUT..” I screamed as she’s got pulled by some people who had a sudden rush towards the main door. I got up in a hurry and was able to save her and our ice creams.

“Whats going on?” we all tried to find out what’s happening here and then I saw a girl particularly crying for no reason.

“omg….omg… “She’s just jumping. The crowd is unbearable so our team sat where we were and tried to calm ourselves.

“Attention please. Can you all make the way for our newly arrived guests? They are as hungry as you are.” That was the manager and some well build men pushed people away to make the path for this unknown guests.

“Get away from me...” I cried as some girl literary on my back now. I hate when people push me like that. Some of my colleagues went on searching about this incident but me and Amy… we clamed ourselves and enjoyed our lovely ice cream.

“Hey… that a cool hairstyle…” Amy wants to be a hair stylist becuz she loves that. So now I had to look at what she was pointing at or I’ll be dead in no time.. hahaha

“WHAT?!” suddenly this word got out from my mouth. I have seen that style before and it belongs to Zayn.

The table next to us was rounded by the guards and I saw 4 guys seating.

“Val…. Is that …. Liam Payne?” Amy whispered to me. I couldn’t stay seated as I heard this so jumped on to my seat to have a better look.

But no. That’s not him. I don’t know who that is so no panic at all. I got down and start enjoying my last bit of ice cream.

The crowd is fading away. Thank god.

“Ladies, it’s time to go back.” That was our leader. She is the head of our school and in our class.

So we got up to leave the place. I was gathering my stuff but hey… another final joke will keep us entertain so I found this Nandos wrapper from my bag and wrapped the mac burger and said “Ohh… Myy… Nandos in Mac? May I present to you MANDOS”

My friends always find small jokes as big things and laugh to death. So here we go again. They start to laugh and all the people looked at us.

I’m still on my feet but others had to sit down because of their tiring laughter.

“VALERIA..!!!”   I heard a very familiar voice calling me. I looked up.

“HORAN?!?” My mouth mumbled. I was frozen for a second. Is that my Niall?

“I told you that’s them” That was Amy staring at me. All the girls turned to look back as to find that voice.

“I heard Nandos in Mac, babes” Niall came to me and hugged in front of everyone. Except for Amy others staring at me with wide eyes.

“What… are you doing here?” I pushed him back though I wanted to be in his arms forever.

“We landed here just an hour ago. And we were passing this and thought we should have our breakfast.” He is smiling and I couldn’t resist that smile ever. That’s what he used to make me fall for him.

“Val we have to go” that was Amy. She looked at me and rolled her eyes to show that people are taking photos and all.

“Ni… this is too public and I have school. Sorry baby. I’ll txt you.” I don’t want to leave him but I don’t want papz to follow me.

“Okey sweet heart. I’ll call you. Be safe and one more thing….. I love you” the last 3 words he whispered to my ear and it gave me an electric shock.

He looked back at the boys and they waved at me and I waved them back and of course they know me, we are damn good friends but now it’s’ not the time to talk to them.

Our gang stepped outside and got into our vehicles and here I am….. Hoping to meet him as soon as possible because he’s back in town after 10 months.

My friends promised to keep this as a secret though the photos are already on tweeter and fb.

That my good friends, was our first public appearance. And yes it’s kinda embarrassing to me at first but now I feel like it’s the most romantic thing ever. Niall still reminds me of that day by saying “Maybe MANDOS, babe?”
