**Skylar's POV**

(Starting from where it left off)

I didn't see it until it was too late.

As soon as I pulled out of the gates, tired squealed and all I saw were car lights right before the sound of glass shattering filled my ears and a scourging pain rippled through my body.

Then everything went black.

*******************

I knew I had blacked out, but I could still hear everything for a while

I could hear Bryson's Boise yelling at me to wake up as I felt my body being lifted.

I could hear glass breaking as he walked on it.

I could hear police sirens.

I could hear the ambulance.

I could hear them taking me in and then feeling all over me which was pretty freaky..

The only thing was that I couldn't feel pain or see anything.

No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't talk, I couldn't move and I couldn't open my eyes.

It was like I was dead.

Maybe I'm paralyzed...

A split second later, I felt something inject inside of me before I heard people yelling about it almost being too late.

A sharp pain hit my stomach before I couldn't feel or hear anything at all.

****************

Tey say that when you are big you feel as if you are floating.

So maybe I'm high?

Though I can't see anything, I feel like in floating. Everything is black and I can hear moans in the distance.

Or at least I think they are moans..

They are different. A girls moans and two different boy moans.

They all sound so familiar but I can't tell.

If only I could open my damn eyes..

I kept trying to open my eyes as hard as I could and as I did so, the moans became louder before I realized that they aren't moans, they were people talking.

Barely making out the words, it sounded like "That's all too bird out of tee home teen?" from the girl.

What the hell?

No one said anything before another girl said "Did you hear that?"

Finally something I can understand!

Keep trying!

"No..?"

"Shh!"

My eyes began slowly becoming lighter and I groaned at the headache I was starting to get already.

Finally...

I slowly opened my eyes only to be welcomed with more darkness.

Are you fucking kidding me?!

I waited for my eyes to adjust and blinked a few times before lifting my head lightly before hissing in pain and laying back down.

"She's awake!"

"Go get a doctor Pais!"

I turned my head to the voices before gasping at the sight.

Flowers. Everywhere.

Have I ever mentioned that I hate flowers?

Well I hate flowers.

I kept looking until my eyes landed on four figures standing by me and my eyes widened.

They look so familiar...

Oh!

"Hey guys." I croaked.

God I sound like a woman who smokes four packs a day!

"Hey pretty lady." Jeremy smiled, handing me a gass of water.

I smiled gratefully before taking a drink and putting it back in his hand.

"How do you feel Sky?" Kayla asked, walking up to me.

"To be honest?" I asked "I feel like shit."

She chuckled "Well I'm not surprised, you took a bad hit."

I smiled but it quickly turned into a panicked frown "The baby!"

I looked down at my... Flat stomach?

Well it wasn't flat but it wasn't big!!

Nate, who I just noticed out a hand on my hand before lacing our fingers "He's fine. He is in the other room on a breathing machine until he can breath by himself because he's premature."

I let out a sigh of relief.

He's a fighter.

I snapped my head over to Jeremy and gave a huge grin.

"Um... You okay Sky?" he asked.

"I've never been better."

"Then why are you grinning like an idiot?"

I glared at him before smiling again.

"He's a Kaden."

***********************************

For those who don't remember, Jeremy told Skylar that Nathaniel is a Kaden, or a fighter.

The baby is fighting for his life so Skylar is naming him that because he is a Kaden.

Get it?!? ;)

I love you my little chicken fingers!
