Evie sat on the Tourney field. She was lying on Jay's lap while her feet were on top of Carlos' legs. They were supposed to be watching the fireworks to launch Spirit Week, sure. But she can't help falling asleep when they had to wait for the two ex lovers; Mal and Ben.
During the week, the two of them seemed to disappear and ignore each other. Mal only sees Evie during the morning, lunch, some classes and when she goes to bed. It began to sadden Evie. She missed Mal. She missed her annoying antics, her sarcastic remarks, her cute little pout. She just seemed to slowly fade away.
"Fireworks start in ten!" Audrey cheered as she sat beside Uma, her head disappearing into the girl's teal afro, Evie nudged her friend and winked, causing Uma to groan and blush. "Can y'all stop?" Uma mumbled, Harry gave her a wicked grin and clapped her back, "We would never, dear captain!"
Their voices were drowned out by cheers erupting from the stands, Evie began to smile. It was Ben, all dressed in dark blue leather, his hair was messy, leather shoes exchanged for combat boots, golden watch replaced by a leather slapped one, and he had a fucking piercing on. He gave Evie a smile as he sat down beside her, "Hey, Evie."
Evie shook her head and laid her head on his shoulder, causing him to blush, "Rocking the leather. Have you seen M?"
Right after that question, a new figure began walking up towards them. Evie gasped and was completely amazed. Mal was wearing something she never thought would ever come to life. Mal always liked to draw, everybody knew that. The only thing today was that she actually wore the teasing sketch Evie always forced her to make. Mal was rocking the usual badass fairy look with her ripped jeans, black shirt and worn out combat boots. Her previous iconic leather jacket forgotten when she was using another one.
It was purple and simple, except for the design in the chest and on the back. 'Property of Evie Queen.' was written in green at the front and there was a little photo of Evie at the back of it. (Pretty much Thomas' denim jacket with Dove's face behind.)
Evie grinned when Mal sat in front of her, the fairy's annoyed and disgusted expression betrayed by the shine on her eyes. "See? I always knew you'd do it." Evie purred, removing her head from the young King's shoulder to lie down on Mal's lap. "Guess I'm your property now." Mal chuckled, causing Chad to snort and Carlos to scoff, the two shared a high-five as Mal glared at them.
"Do you smell something, Jay?" Doug joked as he wafted the airs towards his nose, Jay seemed to get a hint and tagged along, "I believe I do, Doug." The nerd and thief snickered when Ben glared at the two of them, "I think I smell some competition up here." Lonnie added, well, she wasn't wrong.

Spirit Week begun and the first day's theme was the dumbest of all. It was opposite day.
Evie didn't know if she should either be snarky and rude, talentless and dumb, a guy or a preppy Auradon girl, which she already is. She decided with the first two. She was lazy Evie today, slacking off on some work, which she will eventually do once the day is over, she would answer back to teachers, not give a fuck in the world and just let loose. Basically, she's turning to Mal.
Evie sat on the back of the History of Auradon classroom, chewing some gum as she took in her appearance, she was in her Isle clothes, just darker with more holes on it. The crown and heart emblem catching eyes as she walked by.
"Is it me, or you must be Cinderella? Because I actually see that dress disappearing in midnight." Evie was startled by the voice, calming down a little when she saw Ben with an attempt of a smirk, Evie rolled her eyes, "That was a terrible pickup line, even for a King."
