The hallways of Auradon Prep was buzzing with life and colors as they celebrate homecoming. There were no classes, no work, just a dance and a game. That was it.

Evie sat inside her room as Doug computed the money she earned from the homecoming dresses, "Wow, you can almost buy a bigger castle." Doug chuckled as he finished computing, Evie didn't hear any of it as her mind wandered to Mal and Ben.

The two were to be benched if they don't get their shit together today and Mal wasn't pleased. "Hey, Evie? Are you okay?" Doug asked when she didn't reply, Evie just sat there, staring at her sketchbook as she fiddled with the pencil.

"I'm not okay, Doug. I don't know if what I'll do is right." Evie muttered, Doug met her gaze and he smiled, "Let me guess, it's about the two people that are biting their heads off for you?" The joke made Evie chuckle lightly, "I don't even know, why me?" She asked as she stood up, ruffling the dress she made.

Doug shifted on his seat, propping his chin on his knuckles, "That I can't answer but if you move your royal butt to the Tourney field maybe you will." Doug smiled, he knew it was practice for the girls Tourney team and luckily, he had band.

Evie stopped and took a look at the time, "It's two hours away from the game, I'm not wasting that time on sitting under the sun when I can deliver these dresses." Doug raised a challenging eyebrow, "Mal's going to be there."

Evie stopped in her tracks, she looked at the dress rack and then at Doug. "Deliver the tuxedos, I'll deliver the dresses. Meet me here in half an hour."

And with that, Evie left with the clothes rack trailing right behind her.

Mal grunted as she deflected another dragon fire, "For fucks sake, stop it with the damn canon!" Her roar of protest was enough to stop everyone else, Uma jogged towards her, followed by Lonnie, Freddie, CJ, Harriett and Jordan. "Calm down, Mal. We can't have you benched in this game." Uma said softly as Mal aggressively removed her helmet, "How can I calm the fuck down when Benjamin Florian is one-upping me every goddamn second?" Mal grunted.

"He isn't one upping you now?" Lonnie questioned as she turned around, "Well, yeah! But he is when it comes to Evie." The previously confused Tourney team now shared knowing smirks, "What is with you and Evie?" Harriett asked, Mal shot her a glare, "None of your pirate business."

The others raised their hands in surrender as Mal crushed the empty water bottle she just drank, "Move your ass or I'll man the canons myself." She ordered, the others nodded and got into position. Mal was ready to kick their ass until a Dragon Fire hit her on the head, followed by a giggle Mal know all too well.

She removed her helmet and faced the suspect, raising her eyebrows as the girl gave her a smile, "Stop touching the canon, Evie." The girl just smiled and shot another Dragon Fire, thankfully, Mal deflected it and she looked at Evie in horror.

"You could've blew my head off!" The fairy yelled, her team laughed and so did Evie, and that was enough for her, she didn't need an apology, all that matters is Evie laughed. "You're such a wuss." Evie grinned as she stepped down, almost falling but Mal was ready to catch her. "Never drop yourself down in heels."

Evie stared at Mal, the way the other girl's eyes stared back at her, the way Mal smiled when she stared at Evie longer, it bothered her. "You're so beautiful, E." Mal mumbled absentmindedly, and it caused a flow of blood to rush on Evie's cheeks.

The team and the band watched, if they weren't clapping, they were either hollering or cooing at the sight. "Y'all owe me fifty bucks." Uma grinned at the two pirate sisters who begrudgingly handed her fifty dollars each.
