ALARMMMM!!!!

I was aroused by the shrill sound of the alarm. As soon as I opened my eyes, the thought of the uni came rushing through my mind and I jumped out of the bed with mixed feeling in my heart.

I splashed the water on my face and looked up into the mirror, debating whether I was ready to meet a whole new world of unfamiliar people? I brushed off the negative thoughts and left the bathroom, into the living room directing myself to my sister's room.

I dashed into my sister's room and pulled the afghan off her. I Jerked her awake and dragged her to her bathroom. My sister really isn't a morning person. I marched towards the kitchen planning on a light breakfast for my sister and myself.

Regardless of the pancakes I made, Hanna just had a large cup of coffee, I mean who am I to object? We do need as much as caffeine we can take for the first day at uni.

My dad had gifted me a car on my 18th birthday which obviously happened to be our ride to the university. The drive was pretty much filled with thoughts about what this entire 'change of world' would feel like. Hanna and I talked about how we have complete different departments and how we won't be able to see each other that often.

A river of feelings poured through me as we went closer to the entrance. I didn't know what to feel. Anxiety, panicky, content, jovial, soothed? I was bought back to reality when my sister whacked my arm.

"Why are you spacing out so much?" she questioned. "Nothing... it's just... I am not sure what I am supposed to feel about this huge change a-and...I don't know." I answered making her hug me a little, I was glad I had her with me, she sure is a pain in the ass but such a big support as well. I don't know what I would do without her.

Making my way inside the university, watching all the unfamiliar people walking around definitely gave me some sort of anxiety. I know first days are supposed to be all nice and pleasant but I for sure was absolutely terrified. My sister on the other hand was already flirting with this dude. Rolling my eyes, I pulled her away, "It's our first day for god's sake Hanna!" I snapped. "I know I know, geez, calm down"

Hanna and I are the most diverse people, by face and by personality. She is very upfront, straightforward, she has no brain-to-mouth filter and likes to throw people's attitude on their faces. Being flirteous is her absolute talent." You get to live only once, enjoy it to the fullest" says Hanna. I on the other hand, like to be polite and take things seriously. I know I said I was really social but it's our first day, some decency should be maintained, isn't it?

Heading towards the principal's office, we were met by a lot of stares, maybe because we were the only Asians around and also met a boy named max who happened to be the department's president, he escorted us to the principal's office.

Entering the office after we were instructed inside, only to be met by the eyes of a very intimidating man. "Yes Miss Collins, please have a seat, you too Hanna". "Mr. Browns" he stated. "You may call me that"
